A really unpleasant ending to an underwhelming stay Xmas Eve.. A misunderstanding over 2complimentary breakfasts in the end cost me $50 and that's because they kindly gave me 50% off a cost I did not incur!!!! Menu and restaurants within hotel, all too strange for most appetites.. Toast on arrival HARD Nd cold Outside food delivery not allowed. No jug in fridge for fresh water No exhaust fan in bathroom. Bed just average Aircon vents not enough to cool room. Twice I requested sugar packets for my room ,as x2packs don't go far, both occasions I was handed 3 single serves. That's 2 cuppas for me. Management not interested in seeing how communications should have been clearer ,genuine mixup both sides Deposit ammount at check-in an extra $100 than stated on their website and third party website as I checked several times before booking .. Honestly ,an ok stay ruined on Xmas morning .I'm disgusted. Great stay 3years ago but never again for me 👎🏼

Stayed 3 night. Stayed previously at Pan Pacific. Continues to impress. Beautiful reception area and Reception staff very friendly helpful and polite. Ideal location for attractions in town. Spacious very clean room, had deluxe king bed room. View of river. Bedroom has 1 very, very comfortable clean king bed. Very tastefully decorated. Room has 1 settee, kettle, AC, TV. and fridge. Mini bar at cost. Coffee making free. Bathrobes and slippers. Bathroom is ensuite is a great walkin shower and toilet and clean with toiletries. Free very good WiFi. Electric sockets near bed. Small Pool area on ground floor with towels. Buffet breakfast good selection, bacon. Sausage, eggs, pastries, toast, croissants jams, yogart juice, water, coffee, cereal choices, cold meats and cheese, and fresh fruit. I Would highly recommend.

Stunning hotel. Staff attentive. luxurious bedroom. Quality toiletries ("Jo loves" - Jo Malone group). The beverage essentials were sparse however and the only item provided in the fridge in the room was a small individual carton of milk ... No water, juice, biscuits, snacks and no mini bar option. Poor really in comparison to the welcome items that we'd been provided with when staying in a hotel in Freemantle the day before. Another drawback for those booking who are not Australian is that the mandatory charge made by the hotel will take up to 10 working days to be refunded onto my English credit card. This is not really acceptable. Does the charge actually need to be taken or should providing credit card details be sufficient? Again, the hotel in Freemantle (Garde & warders) chose not to deduct the charge.

We stayed at this hotel during the recent Ashes Test and, unfortunately, it fell well short of expectations. The reception team had a noticeably poor command of the English language, which made even simple interactions surprisingly difficult. The concierge staff were unable to direct us to the cricket ground – quite astounding considering it’s one of the city’s key sporting venues. The bar was another disappointment. Closing at 11pm, and even as early as 10pm on some nights, is hardly what you’d expect from an international hotel. It left the place feeling lifeless just when most guests were returning from the day’s events. Overall, the staff appeared disinterested and disengaged, as though they would rather be anywhere else. Coming straight from the Pan Pacific in Singapore, the contrast was stark – it genuinely felt like dropping from a polished 5-star property to something more akin to 2 or 3 stars at best. A disappointing experience and not one we’ll be repeating.

I paid $2000+ for a room in Pan Pacific Perth (21st Nove-22nd Nov 2025); and have a confirmation receipt from the hotel. but as we arrived in the hotel on 21st November around 5:00 pm, we've been told that our booking in non-exiting, we were so shocked at that moment, not just we are expecting a warm welcome as we supposed to have for a prestige hotel, instead, we have been turned out coldly, the on duty manager has been called in, but still helpless, we were told that our booking is not in their system, and the hotel is fully booked on that day, ( actually, nearly all hotel rooms have been fully booked in Perth on that day, due to the Cricket event). The black and white fully paid confirmation paper has simply not been honored by the prestige hotel, we were very closed to be "homeless" on that day in a city a few thousands km away from home. When we lodged a complaint later, the hotel replied that because we had canceled the booking. No idea what made the hotel think that we will arrive in the hotel carrying all luggage and cancel a nonrefundable $2000+ booking! Luckly, I have asked the on-duty manager of Pan Pacific hotel to write down the reason that we are refused to stay in the hotel on that day, otherwise, not just me and my wife have suffered a very stressful time on that day but also lose that $2000 we paid. To my point of view, Pan Pacific hotel is not just very un-professional, unfriendly, but very tricky, is a so called 5 stars hotel that you can't trust. I've been traveling around the country and world, but never ever have experience this kind of issue, Shame on you Pan pacific Hotel!
