Pan Pacific Perth

I was there for a business plus personal visit and stayed at Pan Pacific Perth. Everyone was warm and pleasant at the hotel. They went the extra mile to ensure that the room i was staying remained available after i came back from a short trip down south. Rohan the guest experience manager was extremely pleasant and was ensuring that my stay is good and ensured that they will look after my luggage while i am away. I noticed he made an effort to speak to all the guests and remembers their name. This is what i call guest experience.. keep up the good work. Another kudos to Suresh the F&B AD who went the extra mile to request his chef to provide a non-seafood dish because i have shellfish allergy. Then at the breakfast, Michelle the restaurant manager was nice to look after me whenever i come for breakfast ensuring i receive my americano done perfectly. Thank you Pan Pacific perth for a wonderful stay and experience. Will be back next year 2027..

Great place to stay but pricey Pool was not available which was a let down Staff great

As the hotel is located on the east side of Perth, it is a good base for exploring that side of the city but less convenient for exploring the CBD area on foot, or getting to the nearest train station. The hotel was quite busy during the weekend when we arrived so we had to wait for quite a bit for our pre-check-in. There was no dedicated counter for GHA Discovery Elite members. When we returned to collect the room key at check-in time, we had to wait for a bit more to get confirmation that the room was ready, and our luggage has not been delivered to the room yet. The room had a nice partial view of the Swan River but no sunset view as it was blocked by other taller buildings. The room was spacious with a modern design but lack some useful and practical amenities such as work desk and storage. The room did not have a bathtub. The breakfast buffet was a major let down, especially when compared to other Pan Pacific hotels in other countries and other luxury hotels. There was a small Asian food area and the food was no where authentic or tasty. The other choices were of standard level which could be boring for longer stay. The hotel was well maintained and clean, and quiet (noise). Given that the hotel was very busy with guests and airlines staff, the lobby felt crowded so not much atmosphere. Our stay did not feel as good value as we expected. We’ve stayed at Crown for years, but after an abysmal experience on our last visit, my husband, toddler, and I decided to try the Pan Pacific instead. We were impressed from the moment we parked. A staff member who had just finished their shift saw us and helped carry our pram up the stairs, then walked us all the way to the lobby. The front desk and bar staff were all very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Our room was clean, neat, quiet, and peaceful. We asked for a cot and had a sturdy wooden one set up in the room within half an hour of checking in. Breakfast was good, not the absolute best buffet we’ve ever had, but definitely solid. Overall, a great experience and we’ll very likely be back.

Very disappointing for a five star hotel. Booked through booking.com as rang as I usually do and it was cheaper on booking.com. Just before we were due to come get a message saying pool being renovated.. room we booked doesn’t have a bath ..145 per night upgrade fee. No thanks. Used steam room on first night and tonight that’s not working either. Got another two nights here.. what else can go wrong? Thumping footsteps in room above .. need ear plugs to sleep. Certainly doesn’t fit five star for me. Should have read a few more reviews.
