Stay at Dusit Thani Hua Hin

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 days ago

We have visited the Dusit Thani Hua Hin many times. Our visit last week did not disappoint. Since our last visit there have been staff changes. so we were familiarising with the new staff. We had a club room on the 7th floor and our visits to the club were always a delight - with good quality snacks and drinks but regardless of this the staff, their cheerfulness, helpfulness and service made your stay memorable. Thank You Khun Pim, Khan Best, Khan Beau, Khan Honey, Khan Tin (trainee) You were all a delight

Pool service and sun beds a problem.

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 5 days ago

Let’s start with the bad: Not enough sun beds at both pools. Problem is two reasons. First that people reserve beds in morning, even though sign says not allowed. Staff do nothing to stop this. Second is that condominium guests can use hotel pool also. We were in a club room but on at least two nights the club was full in the evening. Not nice having to wait. Hotel know number of club guests so why not open alternative area, say polo bar, when full. No drinking water provided by garden pool, only main pool. No staff to order drinks by garden pool, only main pool. Hotel will say there is qr code to order drinks, but not all tables have this available. There were bottles and empty plates left by lift lobby for at least 6 hours. Many staff must have walked past, so why no one clear away? The good, hotel and staff nice. Club breakfast very good. Club food and drink good. Personally I would not return as hotel too busy and too many negative points.

Gone are the glory days for afternoon tea.

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

As residents of Thailand, we have sampled afternoon tea in more luxury Thai hotels than I care to remember. We have many happy memories of exquisite afternoon teas in the old Dusit Thani Bangkok. Sadly I cannot say the same about Hua Hin- average at best. Than Phu Ying Chanut Piyaoui would NOT be impressed. A very sparse offering with only two small sandwiches and mediocre cakes, served with only ONE cup of coffee- only ONE very dry scone between two, and the absolute minimum of cream and preserve- all for the price of 990 baht for two. We won’t be back.

Our Second Stay and Still Impressed

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

This was our second stay here, and it was just as wonderful as the first time. The check-in and check-out processes were smooth and efficient. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. The room was clean, well-maintained, and comfortably sized. It’s clear that the property is carefully looked after. The overall atmosphere reflects a modern Thai style — elegant, relaxing, and easy on the eyes. The swimming pool is spacious and perfect for a truly relaxing stay. Breakfast offers a wide variety of choices, all delicious. We also had the chance to enjoy lunch and dinner at the hotel, and both meals were great. There are plenty of activities to enjoy, including a small petting zoo where children can interact with chickens, goats, sheep, and even buffaloes. It’s a lovely touch that adds warmth and charm to the overall experience. Every time we return, we feel completely relaxed and refreshed. We will definitely be coming back again.
