Anantara Rasananda Koh Phangan Villas

A stunning hotel - beautiful beach and grounds with very friendly staff. The local village (just a two minute walk away) is also wonderful - not too lively but full of Thai character with several great restaurants and a few bars.

We first planned to stay at Panviman, but I am so happy we switched to Anantara! The property is well maintained with lots of eye for detail. The garden is so beautiful and the staff is constantly checking small things to make it look beautiful and clean. First, we stayed 2 nights in lagoon pool villa number 6, with 2 adults and 2 kids (they placed 2 proper beds for the kids in the room and it worked for us). The room is so nice and clean. Love the huge shower, the aircon is great, not too much noise. And within a couple of seconds you are also on the beach. The pool, omg loved it! They have a swim up pool bar which in my opinion gives ultimate holiday vibes. The last 3 nights we stayed in the ocean garden pool suite which is a slightly bigger room than the previous one. It also has a lovely outdoor shower and ofcourse the sea view🤩 the bed they have outside is also amazing, great for relaxing. The restaurant of Anantara is simply the best restaurant in this bay, great food. The padthai was amazing! They also do fireshows, bbq’s and thai buffet evenings which is also very tasteful. The breakfast on the beach, what can I say…fresh fruit, yoghurts, eggs benedict or eggs however you want them. Also the kids loved all the shakes and smoothies. The sommelier knows everything about wine and they have great wines. You can also leave your bottle when you’re not finished for the next day. All in all, a must stay when you are in koh phangan and want ultimate luxury!

The experience was simply incredible. From the very first moment we arrived by boat (we still remember the sound of the drums welcoming us), to all the thoughtful experiences offered throughout our stay, such as the beach fire show and the cinema on the beach, everything felt truly special. What impressed us the most was the staff. Every single person genuinely cared about making our stay unforgettable, always with kindness and sincerity. A special thank you to Patty, Top, Su, the towel staff on the beach, and the gentleman serving the ice cream. They were wonderful, although every member of the team was exceptional! ❤️ As for the rest, everything was outstanding: the beautiful surroundings, the restaurants, the pool, and the beach all contributed to making our stay truly unforgettable. In conclusion, there is honestly nothing to complain about. Just come, relax, and enjoy every moment.

The experience from waiting to be taken across to Anatara by boat from Koh Samui to every aspect of my stay was impeccably and thoughtfully managed. A upgrade to a Garden Villa was such a surprise. It was large, extremely well appointed and with a wonderful outdoor area with an outdoor shower, plunge pool, day bed, and sun longes. Staff were extremely attentive to my needs, and exceeded my expectations in making sure I felt safe and comfortable. Meeting Manager Elcie and staff on the beach with a refreshing drink and warm welcome was special and unexpected. Nonnie was extraordinarily supportive helping me settle in, offering any assistance I might need and checking in regularly on WhatsApp to see if I was settling in well or needed anything! Handrails were placed on my steps and into the plunge pool, which I wouldn’t have expected. It certainly made me feel more secure. Sahn was very helpful when deciding on a location for the sun lounge on the beach which would be reserved for me during my stay, and extremely supportive at other times during my stay. The signature facial with Kai was amazing, and the best I’ve ever had; she is a highly skilled therapist. Reception and restaurant staff were always efficient, helpful, friendly and very kind. Everyone went over and above to make my stay incredibly special. Cushions were placed on my seat for my comfort on the return trip to Koh Samui. The team at Anatara is very professional, kind and helpful. Everyone was outstanding, and I thank you all for a wonderful holiday! I highly recommend staying at Anatara on Koh Phangan. 💜🌟🙏🏻

Friendly staff excellent breakfast at the beach, lovely and very clean bungalows! Just a little paradise!
