Great hotel in an even better location

We love the Kimpton Hotel Monaco! First off, the location right next to Independence Park and the Liberty Bell can't be beat! The hotel itself is perfect. Rooms were recently renovated and are very bright and clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. Can't wait to return!

A lovely holiday staycation!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

My husband and I travel quite a bit and stay in a lot of hotels, and we thought Monaco was absolutely lovely! It was a very busy holiday weekend and yet the common areas were clean, the elevators were always at the ready (which is underrated if you spend a lot of time in hotels), the newly renovated room was comfortable and stylish, and the staff was outstanding! The concierge, Roshid, went out of his way to make our stay special. That is the kind of service that sets a place apart from the rest!

Thank you IHSSANE & Team Kimpton Monaco Philly!!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

I travel frequently and this location, atmosphere, facility, and STAFF were remarkable, during an incredibly busy week! (July 4, 250th Anniversary) From manager Gregory Viola, to Consuela & Rasheed we as guests were always met with kindness, care & competency. Most importantly, front desk receptionist IHSSANE went above and beyond to create an awesome 14th birthday experience & memory for my daughter during our stay. Well done TEAM Kimpton Monaco Philly & Happy 4th!! We are already looking forward to our return!

We didn't like this hotel as much as the Sofitel, which was full. We probably wouldn't stay at Hotel Monaco again. Decoration was weird; no hangers in the room; housekeeping knocked and opened our door despite the occupied signed on the door.
