Philadelphia has an old-world charm, yet there’s nothing old-fashioned about our hotel’s stunning guestrooms. That’s because they’re sleek and modern without ever feeling cold.

This hotel is near the Reading Terminal Market. Our room was nice, with a large bathroom and a pretty good view of city hall. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The heating and cooling system for our room was tricky, and we would turn it on or off when needed (the hotel can set it to heat or cool, but not both). There was also a brief malfunction with our room keys due to a software update. Our bed was ok, but not great. Overall, though, I think it's a good place to stay.

I was a bride this past year, we had our reception at The Ben Franklin Ballroom, and all of our guests stayed at the Loews hotel. They messed up my room, the brides', and a significant number of our guests' rooms. There was a 4:30 a.m. wake-up call in my room that I did not request. None of their elevators worked the morning of my wedding, resulting in many unforeseen problems. Their employees could not assist in any way. I have never written a review before, but the Lowes Hotel was the only issue with my wedding, and I had to warn other brides.

We had a wonderful stay at Loews Philadelphia. The location is hard to beat, right in Center City with easy access to everything we wanted to do. The area always felt busy and safe, and we appreciated that key card access was required throughout the hotel, which added an extra sense of security. The rooms were spacious, clean, and surprisingly quiet considering how close we were to the heart of the city. The beds were very comfortable, although the pillows were a bit flatter than we prefer. The bathrooms were also generously sized. The room rates and room service were both reasonably priced, and the hotel served one of the best cheesesteaks we had during our trip! Every staff member we encountered was friendly and welcoming. We got complimentary access to the spa, which was a nice amenity and pleasantly uncrowded during our visit. The gym was also well equipped and one of the nicer hotel fitness centers we’ve used. Overall, it was amazing due to location, comfort, value, and amenities. We’d happily stay here again on our next trip to Philadelphia.

Worst valet parking experience I have ever had. The front is on Market Street, which is super busy and had no signage or any indication that the valet garage was around the corner. My son had to get out in traffic and go ask where to go. Then there was a line out the garage door because there's no staging area at all, so my car was sticking out in traffic while I waited 10 minutes for people to unload their cars very slowly and finally get moved. I paid $60 for this???? Ridiculous. The lobby is awkwardly laid out and cramped, very loud and always feels crowded. Finishes in the lobby are dated and look like a bank. The room was fine, but I was so annoyed by the time I got up there that it didn't matter.

Our stay at the Loews Hotel Philadelphia was absolutely outstanding! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome with exceptional hospitality and attention to detail. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms were spacious, spotless, and offered incredible views of the city. Its location is perfect.
