Amazing Stay!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

My husband and I just spent a long weekend at the resort and we couldn't of enjoyed it more. The rooms were clean, staff was friendly and helpful and the food was amazing. We mostly ate at Point in Thyme and Andrew, Sherri and Richard were so pleasant!! We spent most of our time at the adult pool which was quiet and relaxing. We also enjoyed the many hiking trails adjacent to the property. We will definitely be returning in the futrue

Hilton Tapatio Resort is a great place for various vacation/staycation tastes

Everyone and everything was great. We didn't interact with many from their staff, but those with whom we interacted were noteably positive and incredibly helpful: •Andrew from Point in Tyme (and other staff) •Joshua, Quentin, Troy, and April from the Falls Pool Bar and Eatery •Belle & Company at front desk •Early morning shift Starbucks Barista(didn't get her name) Many dining/golfing/pool options that are great for families and guests who prefer a quieter stay. Easy commute to / from PHX airport for out-of-towners. Recommended👍

Can’t wait to be back!

Amazing location set in the mountains just 30 minutes from Phoenix airport. Richard W. Was the best golf cart driver and chaperone we could ever have asked for. Hope to be back soon!

Don’t bother except for the fine dining

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 5 days ago

While I’d like to give them a great review too many things need correcting. As a gold member with Hilton, our room got upgraded to a suit. Very nice room except for the torn carpet(tripping hazard), the broken door sensor tied to the ac, the 4 moths we killed in the room, no live tv service (broken). We then explored the place to discover early closure of the larger pool area(and the card access was broken there too), the water slide was off ( and required you to get someone to activate it), poor hours for the driving range, no gf options on food worth trying( their main dining spot wouldn’t work for anyone with celiac disease) and generally poor communication on all of this. Two stars is probably generous. Only standout was the fine dining at the top of the resort and given everything else, probably independent from Hilton.

Expensive and Disappointing

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

“We were very disappointed with our stay. The room was not as clean as expected—there was a filthy duvet cover, dirty floors, and dusty counters. The sliding patio door was also extremely difficult to open and required two people. We were surprised to find automatic gratuities added to our dining charges without being informed. In addition, a DoorDash order was lost with no resolution, and we were charged a $10 delivery fee for an Amazon package that was never delivered to us. For the price of $269 plus tax, we expected a much higher standard. We brought all of these concerns to the front desk at checkout and were told a manager would follow up, but we never received a call. Based on this experience, we would not stay here again.”
