What a surprise to discover the luxury MGallery hotel La Veranda Resort Phu Quoc in such a wonderful garden ! We enjoyed great moments throughout our stay and we are truly grateful to all the staff who made our experience so special from the first day to the end. This hotel is exceptional, a rare gem, authentic and consistently high quality. The staff, service and attention to detail cannot be underestimated. The team are professional, genuine, patient, kind and willing to assist in all ways. Communication between team members means everyone is on the same wavelength something I have never experienced in my decades of travel. I highly recommend this quality establishment. My stay at La Veranda Resort Phu Quoc – MGallery was truly memorable. The resort is hidden within a lush tropical garden, creating a peaceful atmosphere that makes you feel relaxed the moment you arrive. It is the perfect place to slow down, disconnect from the busy world, and simply enjoy nature. The resort’s French colonial architecture gives it a timeless elegance. The rooms are beautifully designed, comfortable, spotlessly clean, and very well maintained. Housekeeping does an excellent job every day, making the stay even more enjoyable. One of my favorite parts of the resort was its private beach. It is quiet, clean, and never feels crowded, making it an ideal place to watch the sunrise, take a walk, or simply listen to the sound of the waves. Every staff member I met was warm, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. Their attention to detail and sincere hospitality made me feel at home throughout my stay. Breakfast offers a wide variety of Asian dishes alongside European favorites. I especially enjoyed that the soup changes every day, adding something new to look forward to each morning. For dinner, the restaurant serves elegant Western cuisine with Vietnamese influences, while also offering authentic Vietnamese specialties. I would highly recommend this resort to older travelers looking for a comfortable and relaxing holiday, as well as younger travelers who appreciate peace, nature, and a slower pace of life. Whether you’re traveling as a couple, with family, or on your own, this resort offers a truly restorative experience. ★★★★★ La Veranda Resort exceeded every expectation. We stayed five nights and left already planning our return. The colonial charm of this property is unmatched — lush, green grounds that genuinely feel like a private oasis the moment you step through the gate. Our room was spacious with a huge balcony overlooking the sea, and the beach and grounds were immaculate throughout our stay. The service here is truly impeccable. Complimentary airport shuttle both ways made arrival and departure effortless, and breakfast was included every morning and absolutely fantastic. We also loved the complimentary extras — afternoon tea and culinary experiences added a lovely touch we weren't expecting. We didn't use the spa or fitness center, but both looked beautifully maintained. What really made our stay special was the people. A huge thank you to Sam (Shamir Gubot Espera), Guest Experience Manager, and his entire team for such warm hospitality. And a special mention for Ms. Trang, who looked after us at breakfast and lunch every day — she taught us a new Vietnamese phrase each morning and tested us on it the next, which turned into one of our favorite parts of the trip. It felt less like a hotel stay and more like making new friends. Every staff member we encountered — front desk, housekeeping, restaurant servers — was kind, attentive, and genuinely happy to help. Once you step outside the resort, you're also walking distance to restaurants, bars, and spas, which made the location ideal. We cannot recommend La Veranda highly enough. We'll be back.

Fra det allerførste øjeblik vi ankom til La Veranda Resort Phu Quoc, vidste vi, at vi havde fundet noget helt særligt. Det føltes næsten som at opdage en lille hemmelig perle, som man egentlig har lyst til at holde for sig selv. Allerede ved første blik tænkte vi: det er her, vi skal være på vores ferie. Hele opholdet var præget af en varm og oprigtig gæstfrihed. Personalet var helt fantastisk – altid smilende, imødekommende og utroligt hjælpsomme. Særligt gjorde Sam og hans kone, som arbejdede i receptionen, et stort indtryk på os. Det, der virkelig skilte sig ud, var deres opmærksomhed på detaljerne. De vidste, hvem vi var, hilste altid personligt, og man følte sig virkelig set og værdsat. De små ting gjorde den store forskel. Hver dag var der hyggelig afternoon tea, og som en lille overraskelse kom de ofte med en sorbet is serveret direkte på stranden. Der var hele tiden noget at opleve – fra romsmagning til yoga og mindfulness – men stadig i et roligt tempo, hvor man virkelig kunne slappe af og nyde omgivelserne. Det er den slags sted, hvor tiden nærmest står stille, og hvor man glemmer alt om hverdagens travlhed. En ferie her føles ikke bare som en pause – det føles som et sted, man hører til. Og ærligt talt… det er ikke et sted, man har lyst til at rejse hjem fra. Hvis du leder efter ægte ro, skønhed og nærvær, så er dette lille paradis helt uforglemmeligt. Mvh. The entire stay was marked by warm and genuine hospitality. The staff were absolutely wonderful – always smiling, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. Sam and his wife, who worked at the reception, made a particularly strong impression on us. What really stood out was their attention to detail. They knew who we were, always greeted us personally, and made us feel truly seen and appreciated. It was the small things that made the biggest difference. Every day there was a lovely afternoon tea, and as a little surprise, they would often serve a refreshing sorbet right on the beach. There was always something to experience – from rum tastings to yoga and mindfulness – yet everything was at a მშვიდ, relaxed pace that allowed you to truly unwind and enjoy the surroundings. This is the kind of place where time almost stands still, and you forget all about the rush of everyday life. A holiday here doesn’t just feel like a break – it feels like a place you belong.
