We have just spent five wonderful days at La Veranda Phu Quoc, and we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the entire team, with a special mention to Mr. Anup Nair for his warm welcome and kind attention throughout our stay. From the moment we arrived until the moment we c/out , we were surrounded by an exceptional team. Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Beach & Pool Team, as well as every single person we had the pleasure of meeting during our stay, Everyone contributed through their professionalism, genuine smiles and kindness to making these five days truly wonderful. Everything was simply perfect! We are fortunate to have experienced many beautiful resorts around the world, and La Veranda has something truly special: a soul, an elegance, and above all, an exceptional team that makes you feel genuinely welcome. Thank you to each and every one of you for these wonderful moments. Please keep this little paradise exactly as it is! We had a most wonderful time here at the resort. The property is beautiful and the grounds just gorgeous! The nightly live band was also lovely. Food was healthy and very delicious. The Crepe Suzette was one of the best we’ve ever had! Kudos to the chef! Thank you for a wonderful stay! After spending two nights at Pullman Phu Quoc, we moved to La Veranda for another two nights, and it was interesting to experience two very different styles of resort. Even before arriving, La Veranda's service impressed us. They asked about our pre-arrival plans, and when we mentioned that we were already staying at Pullman, they kindly arranged transport from Pullman to La Veranda. Their driver was waiting for us in the Pullman lobby while we completed checkout, making the transfer completely seamless. Our check-in was handled by Sam, and he deserves a special mention. He is genuinely one of the best hospitality professionals we have encountered. He went above and beyond throughout our stay and was always available to help. The welcome drinks were beautifully arranged while he explained the property and our stay in detail. As an Accor Platinum member, we were also upgraded from an Ocean View Suite to an Ocean View Villa, which was lovely. The villa had a huge bathroom, beautiful French colonial-style architecture, a comfortable bedroom and a wonderful outdoor patio and garden overlooking the ocean. It was particularly nice in the evenings when we could sit outside and simply enjoy the surroundings. Our Platinum benefits also included breakfast and complimentary soft drinks from the minibar, which was a great addition. Breakfast was enjoyable, although vegetarian options on the buffet were somewhat limited. However, the service more than made up for this. Sam and the team took the time to understand what we could eat and were happy to arrange additional vegetarian options and fresh fruit for us. We really appreciated the effort. The pool is smaller than Pullman's but is beautiful, clean and peaceful, and during our stay it was rarely crowded. The beach area is adjacent to a public beach rather than being completely enclosed, but La Veranda has its own section with sunbeds and security. The staff were attentive and ensured that the hotel's designated areas remained for guests. Another major advantage is the location. Unlike Pullman, which feels quite secluded, La Veranda is right in the middle of a lively area. A pleasant five-minute uphill walk takes you to numerous restaurants, vegetarian restaurants, pubs, massage and nail salons, and the huge King Kong Mart supermarket. This makes the hotel particularly convenient if you like having restaurants and local amenities within walking distance. The main difference between La Veranda and a larger resort like Pullman is the scale. La Veranda is much smaller and doesn't have as many facilities — you won't find the same number of pools, sports facilities or extensive resort amenities. But what it lacks in scale, it makes up for with character, intimacy, beautiful colonial architecture, lush gardens and incredibly personal service. Our checkout was equally smooth, with the hotel arranging a comfortable coach transfer to the airport. Overall, we had a fantastic stay. If you're looking for a large resort with lots of facilities, Pullman offers a different experience. But if you prefer a smaller, quieter, more intimate property with beautiful architecture and exceptional personalised hospitality, La Veranda is a wonderful choice. Amazing Hotel, amazing staff! We felt very welcomed at all time and can only suggest this hotel to any other travellers! The beach was maintained at all time, no trash or so was visible at all times. The staff were very helpful on every request. The hotel is arranging free airport transfer as well.

A fantastic location and facilities. Service from all the staff was amazing. Special mention to Sam, Trang, Mon and Tuyet for making our time here very memorable.
