Aleenta Resort & Spa Phuket

I don’t even know where to start with this hotel. I’ve been fortunate to stay in many luxury hotels in the far east and elsewhere but this one is for me is without doubt the best I’ve stayed in EVER. Lovely location, stunning infinity pool and clean beach with comfy beds and loungers. The staff are absolutely amazing, they can’t do enough for you. They are keen and willing to help with anything and everything. From the initial arrival, helping with luggage, pleasant and helpful check in staff and it goes on throughout your stay. The Spa was beautiful, tranquil and one of the best massages with professional well trained staff. The breakfast, restaurant and bar staff again, all amazing, attentive, helpful and know what you want and when you want it. We stayed in a one bedroom villa with private pool which was stunning and very well equipt with everything we needed. And I haven’t even got to the best bit, me and my beautiful wife chose this venue to have a two person wedding ceremony. It was perfect from start to finish. 5 stars for Jeab who took care of every detail. Even changing timings 2 or 3 times to accomodate our needs and the weather. The hotel supplied the best wedding celebrant - thanks to Rob and the photographer too who took perfect photos. MIchelin rated food and immaculate service. I cannot compliment this hotel enough and I’ve NEVER come away from a hotel without a little moan or groan - this hotel and its staff were PERFECT in every way. Thank you for proving that there is a standard of perfection and anyone involved in the hotel and hospitality industry should take note from this place. If you are thinking of being married in Thailand do not consider going anywhere else !

Divine and amazing experience from beginning to end. Location peaceful. Beach lovely. Accomodation spotless. Massages the best I have ever had. Muay Thai boxing was hard for me however the fitness I felt afterwards was rewarding. Overall vibe was refreshing, calm, exceptional services and exactly what I was looking for, a retreat for my personal reset and reboot. Whats app was easy to communicate and any queries was quickly responded too during my stay. All staff were friendly and respectful, a big shout out to Apple and Oil in the Spa, Jaq my trainer, Ma and Fern in the Edge Restaurant plus others there too, sorry did not get your names. With gratitude and big love for my retreat at your Resort and Spa. I arrived late and really had only 6 days of my retreat nether the less. I lost visceral fat and gained muscle during my retreat. My time was well spent with the schedule. My family noticed I looked smaller on my return. The investment into my self was well worth the value.

We went here based on reviews for 10 days over Christmas. Booked online and organised transfers from Phuket airport. No issues on pickup, extremely clean car and personal service. We booked the Club Room villa which included 1 hour of free flow alcoholic drinks per afternoon with private butler. Zico was our butler and he was so attentive and amazing and we loved the level of service he provided. Nothing was too hard for him. The villas were great and very private with discrete pool surrounded by garden and walls. Comfy bed, good bathroom. Free mini bar. The actual resort itself is on the most amazing white sand beach which was the highlight. No water sports but you can swim and it was magical. The one resort pool is nice but not very large with limited cabanas. The restaurant was great but after 10 days the options were a bit repetitive. The Christmas dinner which we paid extra for was very disappointing. Ww did not drink much wine as it was too expensive and stuck to beer and cocktails. Breakfast choices great and good coffee which we had each morning. The resort is quite isolated but there is a great restaurant down the road a short walk, plus handy mart, massage place and the other way there is self serve laundry. We also organised a one day James Bond island private boat tour through the front desk which was amazing. On site they have some bikes to use but they are old and often not available. The fitness centre is actually really good. We did not try the onsite spa or massages. Overall we had a great stay but the small things let the place down unfortunately. Kudos to Zico though - he was a superstar!

We are frequent travellers to Phuket and first time to Aleenta. First of all the positives - the resort sits on a lovely walkable beach, you can sit on the beach, enjoy the ocean and the sun sets are stunning. We found the resort itself overpriced and underwhelming. Rooms - average. Not well designed. Insufficient bench space, no desk, tiny side tables, poor lighting, not enough storage. The bathroom also badly designed - no bench space. We had to keep the curtains closed for privacy all the time. Food & Beverage - again mixed. The menu was quite extensive yet many dishes were not available. Our experience with the wine list was worse - they simply didn't have the wines on the wine list. Service was mixed - some great others not so. It felt like the whole resort lacked a capable general manager. We had booked the spa, received confirmation yet no booking when we turned up for our appointment. Overall we were disappointed with our stay and not somewhere we would return to.
