Amatara Wellness Resort

It was our third time in Phuket. This time we chose Amatara resort . We had a great time but we wouldn’t come back. A very nice jungle type resort, very green, lots of space to explore… beach is small but cozy. Very clean with calm water.. we were there in august and had the entire beach to ourselves which was very nice! The restaurant food was very good. Breakfast options were limited but tasty. Why wouldn’t we come back? The main thing we didn’t feel welcome there. We always tip generously but with cleaning staff I shouldn’t have bothered. First they stopped bringing us complimentary snacks and beverages.. at first we thought it was a one day accident but after a few days I had to call reception requesting some.. Same with bathrobes .. they took the old ones and never replaced them. Had to call the reception again… The room was pretty average …small, dark with old furniture. No iron. In general we got an impression we were not very welcomed there… But the resort itself is very nice!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Exceptional Wellness Experience at Amatara My stay at Amatara was absolutely wonderful from beginning to end. The location is beautiful, the ambience is peaceful and relaxing, the food is excellent, and most importantly, the people made the experience truly special. Everyone was incredibly welcoming and genuinely kind. The team at breakfast always greeted me so warmly, and the reception team went above and beyond to make me feel at home. A very special mention to Top — who really is “top of the world” — and Joy, who truly brought “joy to the world”! 😊 Both of you made my stay even more memorable with your kindness and support. I came primarily for the wellness experience and thoroughly enjoyed the detox program. Dr.Henna , Hashna and Ploy were excellent, particularly with the analysis , body posture and guidance provided for my detox Programme . The massages and spa treatments were fantastic, and everyone at the wellness centre was professional, attentive and caring. I also loved the experience at Senses Kitchen. The team there were so kind and humble, and the food was delicious while still complementing the wellness program perfectly. A special thank you to the Synergy gym team as well. I attended the Metabolic reset Core flow and Tabata classes and really enjoyed them. The team were very professional, encouraging and full of energy, helping me stay motivated and keep up my workout routine throughout my stay. 💪 Last but not least , A special thank you also to the lovely housekeeping team. I especially enjoyed coming back to my room and finding the beautiful little animals made from towels. 🥰 It was such a thoughtful and creative touch and became something I genuinely looked forward to seeing each day. Thank you for putting that extra care into making my stay feel special. Amatara also organised my island tour, which was another highlight of my stay and very well arranged. Overall, everything — the location, ambience, wellness program, spa, food, service and hospitality — deserves five stars. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Thank you to the entire Amatara team for making my stay so relaxing, welcoming and memorable. I would happily return and highly recommend Amatara to anyone looking for a beautiful wellness escape in Phuket. ❤️

Wonderful service, everyone is so kind which makes all the difference. The room, spa and pool are all beautiful. Perfect getaway to recharge and rest deeply. Top at reception took great care of us.
