Expansive resort on the Andaman Sea
Amora is understandably popular as a resort, with expansive grounds, multiple swimming pools, and a setting directly on the calm sandy Bang Tao Beach. The staff is very well trained to provide warm, friendly service. The rooms are fairly large, decorated in a modern (rather than traditional) style, and clean. The breakfast buffet that is included is truly massive, with a vast array of items appealing to international tastes, although the Asian selections are rather bland by Thai standards. The prices are quite steep, which reduces the relative value of a stay here. Consistent with its popularity, certain facilities are very crowded at certain times (for example, the breakfast buffet, the beach lounge chairs). I anticipate that this resort is most suitable for people who wish to relax in a tropical beach setting, take advantage of reliably excellent service, do not mind crowds, and are not particularly seeking an immersive cultural experience.

Our room was spotlessly clean, with a comfortable bed.The breakfast buffet was excellent with a huge variety of options.
We had a wonderful stay at Amora. The location is perfect, everything was seamless and wonderful. We will definitely be back.😊
