Anantara Layan Phuket Resort

Our relative Baifern recommended Anantara Layan Phuket for our anniversary, and the experience was outstanding. Working in the restaurant industry myself, I highly appreciate the seamless coordination between the front and back-of-house teams to deliver such a high level of service. The staff made a lasting impression. Thank you to Fern at Reception for the great welcome. Breakfast operations were fantastic, with a special mention to Nuchie and Kamille. We also thoroughly enjoyed our time at Breeze Restaurant, where Anne, Jinny, Bruno, and Mam took excellent care of us. I also highly rate the rooftop bar—the signature cocktails were excellent, backed by great service and spot-on recommendations from Sky. The resort is highly optimized for families. The Kids Club was perfect for our one-year-old son, and the team’s thoughtful anniversary cake was a great touch. While the property itself is wonderful and beautifully arranged, it is the dedication of your team that truly makes the difference. Keep up the excellent standard of hospitality and continue delivering this top-tier service!

We celebrated our anniversary here and are truly grateful for all of the staff for making our stay so memorable. From the warm welcome at Reception by Fern, to the excellent service at Dara Restaurant by Boombim, Fern, and Thida, as well as the wonderful team at Breeze Restaurant Anne, Jinny, Bruno, and Mam everyone made us feel genuinely cared for. A special shoutout also goes to Nuchie and Kamille at breakfast for their outstanding hospitality. Even though we cannot mention every single name, we truly appreciate the entire team for their kindness and attention throughout our stay. The resort and facilities were excellent, especially for families with children. The Kid Club was wonderful, and we were touched by the thoughtful anniversary cake arrangement prepared by the team. A great stay which exceeded expectations. It was my second time in this hotel and I remember the first stay several years ago was OK, but not really "wow"! This time it felt like many things improved significantly: quality of breakfast was amazing, the fitness and wellness centre was a highlight, the service and efficiency were impeccable. I will be back.

The biggest advantage of this hotel is its proximity to the airport—only about 20 minutes away! Although the restaurant choices are limited, each one offers excellent quality. There's a private beach in front of the hotel, a small farm at the back, and a lotus pond in between. You could easily spend a few days here without ever needing to leave. And of course, Spa Layan is not to be missed.

Superlative resort. Modern, beautiful, exceptional service, attention to details. Amazing dining, spa, wellness and tennis. Lovely pools and wonderful private beach. We will be back for sure.
