Anantara Layan Phuket Resort

My husband and I have visited Anantara Layan several times and always enjoy our stays here. We decided to return for a short break in October 2025 and, as usual, booked directly through the hotel’s website, which offered a great daily room rate. We love staying in the Deluxe Layan Suite, although we’ve tried several different room categories over the years — all have been immaculate, spacious, and beautifully maintained. During this visit, the resort was in the process of upgrading the beach, which we were told would be completed within a couple of weeks. This improvement will make a huge difference, as we’ve always loved the resort but felt that parts of the beach were affected by the winter monsoons. Even though the work wasn’t yet complete, we could already see a big improvement — it’s going to look fabulous once finished! As always, we were greeted with the warmest welcome upon arrival, and that warmth continued throughout our stay. The entire team at Layan is genuinely friendly — everyone smiles and says hello, from the gardeners and housekeeping staff to the bar and beach attendants. A special mention goes to Mina, who always takes such great care of us and was incredibly accommodating this visit, especially when we almost had to cancel last minute. Also to Yayah, one of the breakfast waitresses, who greeted us each morning with a big smile, remembered our coffee order, and always made sure my husband’s marmalade was ready at the table. And to Nahed, who welcomes everyone so warmly in the lower lobby — she’s always smiling, full of positive energy, and genuinely interested in how your day is going. I wish I could take her home with me! Honestly, I could mention so many more members of staff — every single person goes above and beyond to make your stay special. Anantara Layan truly is a wonderful resort with exceptional people. Whether you’re staying overnight or just visiting for dinner at Age or Dara, or lunch at Breeze, you won’t be disappointed. We’re already looking forward to returning in February 2026!

I would like to Thank the Anantara Team Ms Pim, Ms Kana, Ms Nahid for being amazing with organizing our stay in Anantara, professional and lovely staff that helped us alot when we needed medical assistance and when we needed extra days to recover. A huge thank you to Mr Nuum, Mr Patrick, Mr Frank, Mr Titan and Mr Game for helping us see the real authentic Phuket, amazing drivers with dedication to caution and alertness. I can definitely say that i will always remember and continue to come back to this hotel just for their amazing staff. We had an outstanding experience thanks to a staff member named Fang. From a distance, she noticed I was limping and immediately offered help with an ice pack and even arranged for a medical staff member to check on us in our room. Later that day, she assisted with our checkout, making sure we were comfortable and personally speaking with our taxi driver to ensure he arrived quickly and at the correct location. Her attentiveness, protectiveness, and professionalism were truly above and beyond. Fang turned what could have been a stressful situation into a seamless and reassuring experience, and she represents the very best of the hotel’s service. She’s an asset to the resort establishment.

Best crew ever, very helpful and polite. Amazing view, Probably the nicest in Phuket. Rooms and breakfast are superb.

It’s our annual summer call vacation choice. Anantara has excellent customer service and guess relations is superb, kids really enjoy their time at the pool. Food is excellent.
