We had a fantastic stay at the Anantara Layan Phuket Resort. The entire process from pre check in through all the activities and amenities was superb. The staff made the trip, they were outstanding. This is a beautiful resort but it is tucked away from the main city and tourist areas. It generally took about an hour to get out and away. Once you returned though it was so peaceful and enjoyable. We had a pool villa with a small private pool. Very nice experience and a relaxing way to wind down the day. Only regret is that we just had 3 nights here. Next time will definitely be a longer stay!

The moment you are welcomed til you depart, a quiet and relaxing vacation is real. Spent 4 days 3 nights being catered to and having piece and quite. The staff is caring and fun. I must give a shout out to Nook,Mod, and Fern. Every staff we encountered said hello and good morning or evening. Asked if we needed anything, always there to give us a ride around the resort. Food is phenomenal, from the breakfast spread to the restaurants on site. Such an amazing time for couples.

We had an incredible stay at Anantara Layan as part of a 40th Birthday celebration for my partner and myself. We were absolutely bowled over by the level of customer service throughout the entire stay. Everyone from maintenance staff, housekeeping, reception team, buggy drivers and bar attendants seem to go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The grounds themselves are huge and you need to be driven around in a buggy- we personally really enjoyed this aspect and were constantly impressed at how quickly the buggies arrived once you called down for one. The beach is beautiful with ample daybeds and loungers. The pool is large and heated to a delightful temperature. An absolute highlight of the trip for us was drinking cocktails, eating delicious food from the breeze pool bar and chatting to Open and Prince. They both made our stay truly memorable and special and couldn’t do enough for you-their customer service is second to none! We stayed in a deluxe layan suite for the first night then upgraded to a sea view pool villa. Both rooms really impressed in size, cleanliness and sumptuously comfy beds; but I would recommend the pool villa as the views are stunning and we used the pool a lot. The food quality and selection absolutely exceeded our expectations time and time again. The breakfast is incredible and you can pour yourself mimosas. We ate at Age and the newly opened Dara- both of these were also outstanding in food, service and design. My only note on Dara is that we weren’t aware that you also had to pre-book the observation deck so couldn’t go up there, but it was cloudy anyway and we were invited back so we didn’t mind- i would advise pre booking if this is of interest to you. An outstanding luxury hotel that is perfect for relaxing at the end of a busy trip. We hope to return again soon and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

If you are thinking to stay here 2 night is enough we stayed for 7 night and it was a disaster! Boring, far, terrible beach!
