Anantara Layan Phuket Resort

The people who work here are what really makes this hotel stand out . They were always friendly and made such an effort to speak to you. They have a can do attitude and so nothing is too much trouble. A big thank you to Mina for looking after us she was so helpful with our travel disruptions. The location is beautiful and the villas are set in lush gardens, which are all dotted around so you get a good level of privacy and quiet. The breakfast had everything you needed and more with lots of exotic fruits and international dishes and along with a view of the sea, it was perfect. We visited several restaurants on site. The Italian Breeze was lovely, along with the Thai place. At lunch, the wood fired pizza's were some of the best ive ever tasted and the sushi was good as well all served on the beach. The Villa's had Diptyque amenities which we loved and we bought two Kimono dressing gowns as we loved the design and they were so comfortable. We loved our stay here and would not hesitate to come back as this place is a amazing.

First experience at Anantara and what a shock of how pleasant it was. First and foremost, the location was huge and having golf carts take us around was such an ease to see the different sections they had with front door pick up. The restaurants on site were super accommodating and delicious. It’s truly a resort that you don’t need to leave if that’s what you wish for. Dara (restaurant) has an observatory at the top which only a few locations have this. Despite the cloudy and monsoon season, we were still granted a tour and this alone would make you want to star gaze all night. The staff was friendly and even upgraded our room on arrival. The aromatic and elegant smells of the lobby welcomed you as soon as you walked in bringing you to what true luxury should be.

I have visited Anantara several times previously and each visit keeps getting better and better. We truly appreciated and very much enjoyed our stay at one of the Residences this time. The butler, Khun Pom, was extremely attentive and took great care of us. At Breeze, all the wait staff were extremely friendly, especially Khun Jean with her lovely and welcoming smile. Finally, the Guest Experience Manager, Khun Mina, made sure her team welcomed us from the moment we stepped off the plane until we checked in for our flight home. I have and continue to recommend Anantara Layan to all my friends! It is truly a gem not to be missed. And for those of you who may not know - award winning White Lotus TV show was filmed at Anantara Layan.

Was just a very short family 'staycation', the hotel is truly stunning, staff are all excellent, big thanks to the very lovely Khun Diamond from Front Office who checked us in and paid lovely attention to our 4 year old. The rooms are beautiful, very high end with awesome amenities, the bed was huge and super comfortable which made for a very dreamy sleep. The food was excellent, we most ate snacks and light bites, breakfast was wonderful, tons of choice with some really cool stations. All in all it was a great stay, will book for longer next time!!!!

The Resort Manager and his wonderful team make our stay so very special, comfortable and fabulous. All the staff are so friendly and helpful and we could not fault anything.
