Centara Grand Beach Resort Phuket

Our experience at Centara Grand was very disappointing, especially compared to JW Marriott, where we stayed earlier for the same price. Staff communication was extremely poor. When our shower flooded, we had to chase them all day for a room change. We were repeatedly given shifting timelines, and no one followed up. Even after packing as instructed and going out, the room wasn’t ready when we returned. Reception staff gave no clear answers and never apologized and vanished fr stretches. They did shoft us to another room at the end though it was our last day at tbe hotel. Breakfast was chaotic, with staff not understanding simple requests especially at live omlette counter. The food quality was mediocre; fruits were not fresh at all , muskmelons were raw , few pieces of watermelons were spoilt. While the property is big, it’s outdated .Rooms ate ok but the sanitary ware in the room is in bad conditio . Pool area is great , kids pool , kids club , lazy river all very enjoyable bit not much otherwise. Overall, this is not a luxury experience. JW Marriott was far superior (for the same price)in service and hospitality , food quality , staff behaviour. If you want a premium holiday, avoid Centara Grand. Its no where close to 5-star hospitality and experience.

Breakfast at the Cove restaurant was a truly wonderful experience. There was a wide variety of food, including both international and local dishes. Everything tasted great, was fresh, and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was relaxing—perfect for starting the day. I’d especially like to compliment the staff, particularly Ida, Yah, and Ray. They were very attentive, friendly, and always ready to help, which made the breakfast even more special. Overall, I was very impressed and would highly recommend it to anyone staying here. 🌤️

Great for families especially when the kids are of multiple age groups. The lazy river ,pools and slides keep the children occupied. Waki and Skye where attentive to the needs of the group. Breakfast spread was expansive with a change in in menu daily. The room specifications are vast. We've been coming back to this property over the years.

Starting with check-in, the wait wasn't long, and we got a clean room with a sea view. The poolside bar was welcoming, and all the staff were great. Cool drinks were a special treat, thanks to Bill, Wit, and the adult pool (Ripple Pool). Good service from Oh. This place is great for relaxing. The beachfront was very nice and clean, and felt private. Breakfast and dinner were at Cove Restaurant. The food variety was extensive and delicious. Service was excellent from Pui, Pakboong, and Kitty. We will definitely come back for our next trip.

It is a hotel for relaxation with a good atmosphere.
