COMO Point Yamu

Our stay at COMO Point Yamu Phuket exceeded every expectation we had. From the moment our car arrived at the reception, we knew this place was special. A young lady at the front desk, who I believe was an intern, welcomed us with the brightest and most genuine smile. It was such a simple moment, yet it made us feel instantly at ease. Our check-in was handled by Khun Puttarn, who warmly introduced the resort and personally escorted us to our room. She was exceptionally professional, kind, and thoughtful. I would also like to express my sincere appreciation to Khun Ouy. He is one of those rare people whose passion for hospitality shines through in every interaction. Khun Puttarn and Khun Ouy completely changed my perspective on what a true five-star hotel is. A beautiful property can impress you at first sight, but it is the people who create unforgettable memories. Their warmth, professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine care made us feel like valued guests throughout our stay. I would also like to thank the housekeeping team for maintaining our room to the highest standard every single day. It was always spotless, beautifully prepared, and incredibly comfortable to return to. The breakfast team provided outstanding service each morning, and the spa reception staff offered thoughtful recommendations with genuine enthusiasm and kindness. To everyone at COMO Point Yamu Phuket, thank you for giving us such a wonderful experience. We were able to relax completely, enjoy every moment, and create memories that we will always treasure. The only problem is that you have set the bar incredibly high. From now on, every hotel we visit will inevitably be compared to the heartfelt smiles, genuine kindness, and exceptional service we experienced at COMO Point Yamu Phuket. My wife and I stayed at COMO Point Yamu recently, and the only regret we had upon leaving was not discovering this incredible hotel earlier! We're fans of the COMO group, having stayed four times at the COMO resorts in Cocoa Island and once in Maalifushi in Maldives, and twice at the COMO Shambala Estate and thrice at Uma Ubud in Bali. Perhaps, it's because Phuket doesn't have the same lure that it once held for us: I find that many of the beaches strewn along its western coast have suffered considerable degradation and overdevelopment in the last 10 years. So it didn’t bother us that Point Yamu sits on an isolated promontory in the east coast where there is no beach to speak of. But its splendid isolation away from the heaving crowds was exactly what we wanted on this holiday. Both its Thai and Italian restaurants are excellent, the on-site spa and gym is fabulous, the infinity pool is perfect for lap swimming, and there are stunning views of the azure sea from every direction. We stayed in two different types of suites during our 8-night stay and both were capacious and comfy; our only grouse is that the sofas in the rooms need to be replaced – the upholstery looks tired and you practically sink into the soft cushions as there is no back support. But other than this, the rest of the resort is faultless. We loved the hotel’s modern architecture and soaring high ceilings, and the play on light as it dances on the walls and textures as the sun moves across the sky during the course of the day. But what stood out most to us was the impeccable service and warmth of the hotel staff. The service throughout our stay was simply outstanding: whether it was at the reception, the bar and restaurants, housekeeping and room service, the gym and spa, no request was too difficult for the staff to handle with a big smile. The ladies at the spa were especially helpful as my wife and I had signed up for a 3-night Cleanse Programme with massages, healthful juices and meals, and an exercise plan (a big thank you to Tukta for supervising the programme). We can’t wait to return next year!

Great hotel with stunning views from all sides. Very helpful and helpful staff in both restaurants. The Thai restaurant food was simply stunning. Great bread east with lots of choice. Front office staff were super helpful and solved a medical situation I had very professionally and quickly. Thank you for that. Staff in general were all great but especially Tong , Maria and the suburb lady in the spa Patty. What suburb team. We visited during the low season and could see the bar area being very congested during high season due to limited places. Try the cookery class which was great fun and very informative. The chef is a real character and a great exponent of Thai cuisine. We also did the tour to a local island , very good. Finally we had the sunset cruise , highly recommended too. Rooms are very well furnished and comfortable. Will certainly visit again. Thanks to all

Definitely one of the most scenic hotels in Phuket with unrivalled sea view. It is one of my favourite beachside resort in the world. The restaurant serving healthy meals is memorable. I am flattered to meet the Canadian head chef during my lunch there.

I came here for a dinner with friends. I loved the beautiful architecture and peaceful atmosphere, and immediately felt welcomed in by the friendly staff. The meal itself was so delicious, made with skill and care, and was beautifully presented. The staff made sure we were all taken care of during the meal as well. With the stunning architecture, lovely staff, and delicious food, it’s an experience I’ll always remember fondly!
