Visited with family after debating on which resort would tick most of our boxes. We visited in what was their low season in July and hotel was not too busy, but be wary of ongoing maintenance and refurbishment in some areas. Hotel is welcoming and staff very friendly. Rooms are well equipped and clean however decor is very dated and could do with a few extra touches to make stay more comfortable. Bathrooms had a glass screen all around so everything is visible with minimal privacy, something that the kids were not happy with. Ours was a 2 bed villa with a balcony pool. All very tastefully provided and clean. The stretch of beach is beautiful however waves were quite choppy so could not make full use of beach for long periods. The main pool area was clean and staff very friendly when eating at the poolside restaurant which has a good selection of dishes. No lifeguard on duty if that is a concern. However the beach staff are very vigilant and will warn you if they feel you are too far out or in potential harm. Overall a good choice for family but there are lots of hotels in the area now so choice of restaurants and prices need to be reviewed to maintain guests.

Rating: 3.0 out of 5 stars The staff was very friendly and helpful, which made for a welcoming atmosphere. The breakfast was of high quality with a good selection, though it became a bit repetitive as the same dishes were served every day. The fitness center was disappointing — the air conditioning was out of order throughout our stay. A temporary mobile unit could have easily improved the situation. The hotel map showed a pitching and chipping green for golfers, but unfortunately, this area was overgrown and clearly no longer in use. The hotel pool had cloudy water, which didn’t inspire much confidence. About 80% of the guests during our stay were Russian, which might be useful to know depending on personal preferences. On a positive note, the room was beautiful and very clean, and housekeeping did an excellent job throughout our stay. However, food and drinks were extremely overpriced — comparable to what you’d expect in a luxury destination like St. Tropez. Poolside food tasted good but was usually served cold. Overall, the hotel has potential, but certain areas need attention and improvement to match the high prices and advertised amenities.

It is a resort with a beautiful private beach and a green yard. The staff always greets you with a smile. The rooms are clean and well maintained. I would like to visit again.

What a pleasant stay! The resort has a such relaxing vibe, very chill but still sophisticated. Rooms are comfortable and were always clean. Amenities are well maintained and the staff is something else.. always kind and professional. Lovely people! The food is also very good, with an excellent breakfast. The only downside I would mention is the kids pool. It doesn't feel very safe or entertainer, specially for toddlers. On the other hand, they have a lot of open space and a nice kids club. Definitely would consider this hotel if coming back to Phuket.

We recently spent a very enjoyable few days at the Dusit Thani Laguna Phuket, a family-friendly resort with plenty to recommend it. The service really stood out. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. We always felt well cared for, and a special mention goes to K. Nitthawuth and K. Pattchariya, whose kindness and professionalism made a real difference to our stay. We were also impressed by the food, which was excellent across the board. The breakfast buffet had something for everyone and was a daily highlight. We particularly enjoyed our meal at Benjarong, the resort’s Thai restaurant, where the dishes were both authentic and beautifully presented. The resort’s beachfront setting is hard to beat. Being right on the sand with the sound of the waves and spectacular sunsets made it a lovely place to relax and recharge. All in all, we had a lovely stay. The friendly team, delicious food, and beachfront location were the real highlights.
