Phuket Marriott Resort & Spa

My family stayed here over Easter (2 adults and 2 kids). The hotel is very convenient for the airport being situated about 10 minutes away. However, it is about an hour from everything else but this is not an issue given the relatively cheap Grab transport. The hotel had a great lagoon pool which was easily accessible from our room (direct access) which was great for the kids. The entire pool is relatively shallow and when you connect to the main pool it is standing depth for adults. The kids loved the pool and also the kids club which had great daily activities. The beach was vast and during low tide very shallow for quite a distance meaning you can walk far into the sea. The sand was soft and with lounges under the tree it was great for relaxing. It’s not a beach for big waves though. The breakfast buffet had a great spread of western and eastern options and the Thai tea was my family favourite! We also tried the room service and some of the restaurants and food was of good quality. We also managed to try the spa. There was a good selection of therapies on offer and the therapist did an amazing job (I fell asleep!). The prices are in line with what you would expect at a 5 star resort and of course cheaper alternatives are available outside. Being set on a bay the hotel has an amazing lobby/ bar area overlooking the sea. It was a very serene environment. Overall staff were very helpful and service was great too!

From the moment I stepped out of the car, my vacation truly began. I was warmly welcomed by Anna, the supervisor on duty, whose genuine hospitality immediately set the tone for an unforgettable stay. She greeted me with a refreshing cold welcome tea and a chilled towel — a thoughtful touch after my travels — before personally escorting me to the registration area. As a Marriott Bonvoy Gold Elite member, I had requested a late checkout, which was graciously accommodated. I had also messaged ahead to advise of my earlier-than-usual arrival, and the team kindly allowed me to access my room well before the standard 3 PM check-in. Walking into a cool, perfectly prepared room after a long journey was the ideal start to my stay. The room itself was beautifully appointed, and the swim-out pool was an absolute highlight — a private slice of paradise just steps from my door. The entire property was maintained to an impeccable standard. Everywhere I walked, I noticed staff attentively keeping the grounds pristine, always with a warm smile and a friendly greeting. That consistent level of care across every team member speaks volumes about the culture at this property. The beach was simply stunning, and the surrounding views were breathtaking. This truly felt like a “mini vacation within a vacation” — a place where hospitality is felt, not just observed. What truly elevated the experience was how my stay ended. As I waited for my car, Anna was there once again to send me off with a cold towel and a refreshing cold tea. She stood with me, chatting warmly, and personally walked me to the car when it arrived. It is genuinely rare these days to encounter even a fraction of this level of service, and her thoughtfulness left a lasting impression. Thank you, Anna — you are a true gem and an absolute asset to the Marriott brand. Experiences like this are what build lifelong loyalty, and I will absolutely be returning for a longer visit with my family.

We had a wonderful experience at the Kids Club. A special thank you to MUMU and MEYA for taking such great care of our two boys. They spent 3–4 days here, enjoying a few hours each day, and had so much fun they didn’t want to leave. They also loved making the lovely crafts. The overall service at the hotel was excellent, and every staff member we encountered was warm, friendly, and attentive. We also appreciated how the staff were quick to help when our child had a small injury, gently taking care of it right away, which made us feel very reassured. We truly appreciate the care and heart you put into making our children feel so happy. It made our family trip even more memorable.

We stayed here for our wedding anniversary in April 2026! Wow is all I can say !! Everything was exceptional we can not find anything to fault the hotel or the staff there! Food was amazing ! Pat at the big fish bar really made our stay relaxed too he took time to talk to us as did everyone else but he really is lovely. He always had a smile in his face when he saw us and ask us what we had been doing that day. Staff there are so friendly and love to do anything for you! Really appreciate the way they all made our holiday special Rooms were amazing and clean and the air con is amazing
