The Racha

A big thank you for the warm welcome from GM Mr. Devan, Ms. Poo (FOM), Ms. Belle (FB), and all the staff, who always greeted us with smiles and friendly service. The hotel is beautiful, the sea is clean and stunning, the food is delicious, and there are plenty of activities to enjoy. Truly worth it for an island escape! The journey took only 30 minutes by speedboat, starting with a smooth and friendly check-in at the pier, followed by a quick transfer to the boat. Upon arrival at the island, a car was waiting to take us to the hotel, where we were greeted with cold towels and welcome drinks. After receiving the key card, a staff member escorted us to our room. In summary, everything was excellent!

Beautiful resort with amazing views of a lifetime which makes the boat ride extremely worth it! Everything was immaculate - lovely team with great hospitality and service, food was awesome and you can expect a good variety of Thai food at all of the restaurants on the island. You can never be bored because the resort offers a wide range of activities and in between, you can also book yourself a lovely massage/spa. Will definitely return for a good recharge again!

My husband and I went to The Racha for his 60th birthday. It was without question the best holiday we’ve ever experienced. The place was exquisitely beautiful, the guests were friendly but the staff were simply out of this world - going above and beyond at all times. We found the Thai staff to be polite, courteous, peaceful and kind. We especially recall Fa, Narada, Elizabeth, Tammy, Chadruch, Cherisse, Aum, Ice and Su - but all of the staff were just lovely. The rooms were clean and to a very high standard and the food was always fresh with lots of choice and big portions when we went to some of the a la carte restaurants they have on site. Planning to return. A very special holiday destination and our pictures were just one of a kind.

I stayed at The Racha for 4 days with the yoga retreat group and the experience was amazing from the first start at the racha lounge on the mainland. I got to choose the fragrance for the room and amenities. The staff are friendly, like literally everywhere and every day in the dining room, bar, etc. They are always smiling and I can feel their generosity. The room is spacious with a balcony. The bed is super comfy and every night they turn down our bed and place a cute guide for birds and butterflies. So cute :) Breakfast is amazing, especially Thai food special dishes on that day. You must try!!! Champagne is also served in the morning! I would say I loved the experience! The beach, swimming pool, and facilities are all perfect, even if you come alone or as a couple or family. I will definitely try to come back here 😘 By the way, during the yoga retreat, Fa helps take care of our group with her friendliness. Thank you so much Fa for your hospitality. We love you 🥰

We love this resort! It is a fantastic place to go, and switch off! The food is amazing (best of all hotels we stayed in Thailand!), the staff are lovely, the beach is stunning. Sunset at the bar is out of this world! The rooms aren’t the most luxurious, but they are absolutely fine. My only complaint would be: The rubbish on the beach! We visited last year, and this wasn’t much of an issue. 1st thing in the morning, the beach was stunning/ clean. After the day-tripper left, there was some rubbish, but not too bad. The beach/ sea this year however, it was really bad! The day trippers turn up at 10am/ leave at 3pm. They eat crisps & drink juice whilst standing in the sea (we saw quite a few feeding the fish crisps 🤯) It is a pretty disgusting sight. They then leave, and leave all their rubbish behind. So this year, we could not use the beach in the afternoon. Even in the morning, it wasn’t that appealing, as there was still rubbish floating/ on the beach. I understand that the hotel cannot stop the day trippers, however they need to do WAY more to clean up after they’ve gone. The beach at Racha is genuinely one of the most stunning in the world… it is so sad to see what is happening. By the end of our holiday, I couldn’t go to the beach, as it just really annoyed me and there was nothing appealing about swimming in the beautiful sea surrounding by rubbish. Something really really needs to be done. 😢
