The Slate

I would say this is the best hotel I have ever been too!!!! In every way!!! From being picked up at the airport to the welcome at reception by the most beautiful and happy staff!!! To the whole ambience and feel of the hotel and the food and the rooms! The list is endless ! We stayed in a two bedroom villa with pool! And it was the most beautiful complex we have ever stayed in! Literally they thought of everything! It was spotless! So trendy and cool! They had a beautiful flower arrangement on the bed as a welcome and a hand written card from the manager! Which I just thought was so thoughtful! Every day they left us gifts - food - cakes , sushi! Drinks! We felt like royalty! We had a trip to the spa where they picked us up on the buggy and took us to the most amazing spa and the ladies were so amazing with my children! It was an Unbelivable experience ! We had dinner in the black ginger which was like something out of a movie scene ! It was one of the most beautiful restaurants we have been too! As it was our wedding anniversary they had decorated the table with pink rose petals! They went the extra mile no other hotel has ever done ! Just walking round the hotel felt like a movie scene - it was stunning!!!! Like being in a luxury jungle! We went into the village a few times - which was amazing ! The atmosphere and the food and beach was sooo good! The only bad thing was that we couldn’t stay longer than 3 nights! We moved on to the intercontinental further down in Phuket - and we wished we had stayed at the slate ! The customer service, the whole atmosphere and the entire complex was 100 percent better than the intercontinental !! I’m so happy that we have found this hotel as we will return again and again! Hotel of dreams !!!!!! Well done to all the managers and staff!

The experience at the Slate Phuket was awesome. The stay was excellent, the decor and layout of the hotel was fantastic . The food and staff was was fantastic. The vast layout gives enough space within the hotel to walkaround and enjoy the space.

Khun Noon, the receptionist, provided excellent service and was very helpful, always giving recommendations with a warm smile. The staff at Pulley Pool & Bar were also very friendly and served with genuine smiles—especially one of the male staff members (a petite gentleman, whose name I unfortunately didn’t catch), who was particularly attentive and kind. During my stay, all the staff were lovely and always greeted me whenever we met, which made the experience feel very warm and welcoming. I will definitely come back again

The Slate Hotel lived up to our expectations as a great place to visit. All the buildings are low rise on a massive site however the signage is excellent and make it easy to get around. The gardens are immaculately maintained. Our Pearl Suite room was luxurious and spacious - probably the best that we’ve ever stayed in and we have been to many places in the world over the last number of years, (quite a lot). It overlooked the Snakeskin Pool, (Pool 3), which was adult only and well equipped with comfortable loungers and quality towels - towels also provided for taking to the beach along with mats. Access to the Beach Village and Nai Yang beach itself was via two gates manned by very efficient security staff - this was two minutes walk from our room. The Beach Village is vibrant with many restaurants and shops / supermarkets. Service in all areas and in general the positive attitude of the staff in the hotel creates a great atmosphere. There is a good variety of restaurants and bars on the complex and a fully equipt gym if you like that sort of thing. The breakfast is excellent and caters for all cuisines. All in all a fantastic hotel and, if the opportunity arises, we will definitely be back.

Simply the best. My second time staying at the Slate and already planning on heading back. Rooms are amazing and super clean, the pools fantastic. What really stands out though is the staff are super friendly and helpful. The location is so great - close to the airport so when you arrive you are not then in a long drive to your stay. The restaurants have stunning food with black Gingers atmosphere just something out of this world. Do your self a favour and stay at the Slate you wont regret it.
