What a place…. The hotel is absolutely stunning! The staff put so much effort into keeping the gardens looking beautiful and it really shows! The location is perfect, inbetween Kamala and Patong… it’s a little luxury outside of the crazy :) All the staff are lovely, polite and happy to help… especially the pool bar, crocodile staff and Mind on reception. We had a hillside room which was fabulous and gave us a good walk everyday… we would probably look to stay in a lagoon swim up room next time! The rooms have everything you need and are very spacious… the bed is absolutely huge!! We prefer a softer mattress so that wasn’t the greatest comfort to us however the pillows were lush! We would have liked a smart tv in the room as we like to chill with a film at the end of the day but this didn’t affect our holiday at all…. We’ve enjoyed every moment! The food here is also brilliant and reasonably priced for a resort… plenty on offer at breastfast, the omelettes are really tasty. Wide range of food to suit everybody! Our favourite food here is the chicken burgers, we’ve eaten these for lunch when we’ve been around the pool and they are just to die for! All in all, we’ve had a great stay and absolutely love the Thavorn and all its hard working staff…. We will definitely be back again :)

We cannot rate this hotel highly enough! The hotel itself, location & food are fantastic. However what really made our stay incredible were the staff. They were all so warm, friendly, and helpful; nothing was too much trouble. In particular Chereen was fantastic! She served us in the Marissa most lunch’s & dinners. She was so warm & friendly, yet so professional. She was so attentive, and took the time early on to get to know us and learn our preferences. She also took time to explain things of interest in Thailand to us. Peachii also stood out for her friendliness & attentiveness. Also Marisa, Noi, Tarn and Amp. Staying at Thavorn Resort was truly unforgettable. The staff were some of the kindest and most welcoming people I’ve ever met—always smiling, always helpful, and genuinely caring. The resort is surrounded by stunning natural beauty, peaceful gardens, and crystal-clear water—it feels like paradise. You can really feel the warmth of Thai culture in every detail, from the hospitality to the food and the way you’re treated like family. Thailand is already a beautiful country, but the team at Thavorn make it feel like home. Thank you for an amazing experience! Special shoutout to Joom, Kate, Sonia and quite literally every single staff member from the housekeeper, reception, waiters, chefs cable car operator, animal carer, made our stay incredible.
