Thavorn Palm Beach Resort

We loved our stay at Thavorn Palm Beach hotel. As a family of 5 with two teens and a child, the rooms were clean and spacious, with great views over the pool and ocean. The slides were a hit for all ages! All the staff were super friendly and accommodating. Eddie was especially helpful helping us navigate and organise transport. He also organised takeaway breakfast boxes for our super early airport transfer. The staff at Ocean Rhyme and CIO were also amazing. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Amazing Resort and great value. Special mention to Adel at front desk. Was very approachable and helped me on many occasions. One being we celebrated our 19th wedding anniversary and Adel organised the best roses setup over the bed with roses scattered all over the room. Also Adel recommended her favourite restaurant and we loved it. Thank you Adel for everything you did and made our stay very memorable. Also a shout out to Eddie who was always checking up on us when we checked in and checked out and took our bags and made sure we were hydrated. Thanks Eddie.

It was such a great experience! All the staff were so sweet, nice, friendly and welcoming. It was our first holiday overseas as a family and truly was a one to remember. We spent alot of time in the resort and it was incredible. Eddie especially was so helpful and took time just to make sure we checked out ok and made our stay such a memorable experience. Usually resorts don’t care about customers but here they go above and beyond. 10/10 recommend!!!

I had a wonderful time at this resort! I booked through Agoda with a “room assigned on arrival” deal, and Elle at the front desk was kind enough to give me a high-floor room (just what I’d requested). Quick tip: if stairs aren’t your best friend, avoid the higher floors—you’ll get a bit of a workout going up three flights. The staff here are genuinely lovely. The concierge helped with my luggage, and Elle even gave me a beach towel at check-in since I arrived before the 3 pm check-in time—such a thoughtful touch. While waiting, I relaxed at one of their many pools (yes, many—you’ll be spoiled for choice). Breakfast was a real highlight: a huge selection of just about everything, and to my surprise, even fresh coconut water. The rooms are exactly like the photos—spacious and well-kept. During monsoon season, the atmosphere is wonderfully quiet (perfect for a solo traveler like me—fewer kids, more peace). Just don’t forget your insect repellent; the mosquitoes clearly didn’t get the memo about “resort etiquette.” The location is also fantastic. Karon Beach is right across the street, and compared to Naithan, swimming here during monsoon season felt easier. The area has plenty of restaurants, so you’ll never run out of dinner options. Overall, I was really happy with my stay and will definitely come back. Great service, beautiful property, and just the right balance of lively surroundings and peaceful moments.

Beer was very nice recommend lots of foods it was comfortable and lots of pools staff are very helpful and the buffet had lots of variety
