About the Hotel
Idyllically set on picture-perfect golden-sanded Karon Beach, Thavorn Palm Beach Resort is just a 10-minute drive away from hopping Patong, yet offers blissful tranquility away from the din of Phuket. Feel right at home upon arrival by being welcomed with a traditional drink and a cool towel to freshen up in the colonial-style lobby. Guests are personally escorted to their rooms while wandering past lotus ponds, lush exotic plants and a variety of wildlife that all make the 25 acres of landscaped grounds a tropical paradise. Designed in Thai décor, the rooms have contemporary teakwood furnishings with private balconies or patios looking out across verdant gardens or the Andaman Sea. Standard conveniences include air conditioning, complimentary WiFi and flat-screen televisions with Smart TV systems.

Dreamy Hotel Vibes or Sleepless Nights? My Honest Review of Thavorn Palm Beach Resort 🌊
Let’s start with the good stuff: Thavorn Palm Beach Resort has a gorgeous setting! 🌺 The garden is beautifully designed, and the location is a total win—steps away from stunning beaches and tons of amazing restaurants. Perfect for a coastal getaway! But here’s the reality check. 😕 The rooms? Way too small, feeling cramped and uncomfortable. The towels were noticeably worn, which was a letdown. The biggest issue? The hotel is right by a busy road. 🚗 The constant noise from cars at night made it nearly impossible to sleep. Then there’s the Wi-Fi—capped at four devices. For a family or group, that’s just not practical in 2025! 😅 The breakfast buffet had a decent variety and tasted okay, but it got crowded fast. Oh, and the coffee? It had a weird aftertaste (maybe a water issue?) and was honestly undrinkable. ☕🚫 Overall, the cons outweighed the pros for me, and I didn’t enjoy this stay as much as I’d hoped. I wouldn’t recommend it unless you’re okay with these trade-offs.

Wonderful stay
We had a great time staying at Thavorn. The staff at the hotel is extremely courteous and helpful. A special shout out to Gif and Jessy for going out of their way to make sure that we had a wonderful time. They were very helpful with all our requests and made sure that our stay was memorable.

OK Stay
The hotel is nice but it is a little dated and needs some work. Whilst it was a nice stay, it does not feel like a 5 star luxury. The breakfast is ok but not great. Staff at the pool bar really nice and a good location. Gym is basic with poor A/C. Nice cocktails
