Idyllically set on picture-perfect golden-sanded Karon Beach, Thavorn Palm Beach Resort is just a 10-minute drive away from hopping Patong, yet offers blissful tranquility away from the din of Phuket. Feel right at home upon arrival by being welcomed with a traditional drink and a cool towel to freshen up in the colonial-style lobby. Guests are personally escorted to their rooms while wandering past lotus ponds, lush exotic plants and a variety of wildlife that all make the 25 acres of landscaped grounds a tropical paradise. Designed in Thai décor, the rooms have contemporary teakwood furnishings with private balconies or patios looking out across verdant gardens or the Andaman Sea. Thavorn at Karon - great place to stay
Lovely resort, beautiful pools and great water slides. The gardens are an absolute standout, exceptionally beautiful. Manicured, with topiary, bonsai and its own “secret garden”. Petting zoo is wonderful for younger kids. Only suggestion is that it would be great if they had an activities room for older kids. Breakfast buffet is a standout and bar snacks and poolside drinks are at reasonable prices. Staff are very personable. A special mention and thank you to Shevket who was very helpful when I needed assistance with an administrative issue and also thanks to Ploy at the front desk.

Fantastic stay at Thavorn Palm Beach Resort.
We had wonderful 5 nights stay at the resort. Kids enjoyed water play at the pools. Highly recommend.

Amazing resort for a Family!
We had the most wonderful stay and couldn’t have asked for a better family holiday. Travelling as a family of four with an 11-year-old and a 13-year-old, we found the hotel absolutely perfect. The facilities and amenities were excellent, there was plenty to keep the kids entertained, and the location was ideal – close to town and everything we needed. What really made our stay special was the incredible staff. Praery and Shevket were both fantastic throughout our visit, always friendly, welcoming and happy to help. A special mention must go to Eddie, the bellman/porter, who truly went above and beyond for our family. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and his kindness and professionalism made a huge difference to our experience. We also loved spending time by the pool thanks to A, the bartender. He was so friendly, made great drinks, created a fun atmosphere and always greeted us with a smile. Thank you to the entire team for making our holiday so memorable. We can’t wait to come back again!

Poor service and cooperation
First days and the experience of check-in was really bad it’s 3:15 here and I have still not got my one room . With two small kids and and two old age parents o had to struggle in one room . I got the second room around 4 in the afternoon My parents are really pissed at me and so is my wife on the first day of the trip . I don’t recommend this property . First day of my family trip and it’s ruined .
