All blonde wood and elegant minimalist interiors, this hotel looks the part and is in the most spectacular location on the top of the Lange hills. Staff are friendly and the food is elegant and delicious. The hotel is designed for young people though although supposedly accessible the doors are so heavy at some more impossible to open without two people doing it, the accessible bedroom had a skating rink wooden floor. The main courtyard is cobbles elegant but nightmare to walk on if you are not fully mobile lots of good things about this place but I doubt we shall return..

If you are familiar with the Japanese ryokan concept, it will help you understand Casa di Langa. A secluded but accessible countryside estate with beautiful architecture, kind and skilled staff, and a sense of peace and quiet, yet offering a rich array of quality amenities. We have been fortunate enough to stay at some truly great ryokans in Japan (Beniya Mukayu, Bettei Senjuan, and Hoshinoya Tokyo) and this is the first time we've found a similar concept in another country. Things we absolutely loved about Casa di Langa: -- The sense of arrival: passing through the handsome gates, the entrance drive, winding past the estate, and then the warm welcome at valet parking -- The pool and hillside beanbag couches -- The poolside lunch menu (especially the smoked trout tramezzino, granita, and gelato) -- Apertivo hour on the terrace of Sori (have a glass of local wine and the local cheese plate - perfection) -- The architecture, lighting, and landscaped grounds -- Friendly and capable staff -- Good communication pre-arrival, and very helpful making restaurant reservations -- Breakfast at Faula -- Valet parking and on-site EV charging, and the valet staff are so capable and kind -- The room (we stayed in a Junior Suite, worth the upgrade) especially the wonderful materials (beautiful stone, millwork, textiles) and generous terrace -- Strong air conditioning with individual control in the room -- Good housekeeping including turndown service -- Overall a beautiful setting for slowing down and enjoying life. A few suggestions for improvement: -- The coffee at Faula is not great; in Italy, great espresso should be part of the daily experience! -- Dinner at Faula was very disappointing. We tried the vegetarian tasting menu. Despite it being the most expensive meal of our week in Italy (Milan and Piemonte), it was the worst meal of our entire trip. The soy and teriyaki eggplant dish was particularly bad. Some courses were good, none great. Service was friendly but was painfully slow. -- I suggest trimming the tall hedges and grasses that block the beautiful landscape views when sitting at Faula or the terrace of Sori (especially at apertivo hour with the sun beginning to set) -- It would be great to have the opportunity to purchase a few branded items (e.g. bag, clothing, hat, whatever) at a small gift shop -- it's a wonderful brand I'd love to bring into my daily life with me Overall I heartily endorse Casa di Langa and I share these suggestions in the spirit of continual improvement for this wonderful team doing good work in a stunning physical environment. Well worth the spend and a spectacular place to unwind. Grazie mille!

We were a family of 3 (parents + 3 year old) and were stunned by the nice entrance and convenience with the valet service. The hotel was beautifully arranged and service was good. The suite suited us perfectly and was of a good size. We did not have dinner at the hotels main restaurant as we wanted to experience local restaurants in the area. The pool area was nice as well and especially the bean bags on the grass. What perhaps was lacking was some sort of nice area outside with natural shade where we could have a drink, but otherwise the hotel was beautiful, with good service and convenience.

The Hotel is located in a beautiful area with superb views. Very good restaurant, with good choices for vegetarians. Nice architecture and garden / pool area. The staff was very friendly. The Concept of a sustainable 5 star hotel is great. .

Beautiful quiet retreat in the hills among the vineyards. Half hour into Alba. Rooms are beautifully designed, Scandinavian, Asian minimalist inspired but cozy and luxurious. Staff are gracious, proactive, helpful but discreet. Restaurant is bright and has a lovely vista. Own herb and vegetable path. Generous breakfast selection. Dinner delicious.
