Stayed two nights here after sailing with The Moorings for 7 nights through the various cayes (excellent). We had a flight a few days later back to LA and stayed at Itz'ana. It happened to be my father's 70th the day we arrived at Itz'ana. I emailed the concierge - Sasha Lopez and planned a surprise dinner for him. She got us a private room, allowed me to curate the menu with the chef, she got the entire staff to keep it a secret. It was amazing. Sasha is amazing. Shout out to JD and all the staff. This place is awesome. Great food. Great pool. Big clean rooms. Ice cold AC. Can't ask for anything more. I WILL be back.

Itzana resort was absolutely amazing! The resort, staff, and food were incredible! I had been planning my sister’s bachelorette weekend with Deborah for many months and it was such a pleasure to meet in person and see all of our hard work in action! The weekend started with a beautiful welcome dinner on the beach with an open bar. Our server, Carolina was with us for the majority of our stay. She was very accommodating and knowledgeable! We then had a catamaran for the day where we went to a private island for lunch. Our captain, Diego, took us on a scenic route where we were able to see a pod of dolphins! We also had a private yoga class poolside (with Jarka) and ended with a Mayan chocolate making tour (with Narcisso and Pamphilo) and waterfall jump (led by Alex and his exceptional rum punch)! There were also shuttles where hotel staff would drop off and pick up for dinner and/or souvenir shopping in addition to golf carts. Would 100% be coming back to It’zana! Deborah and team were absolutely amazing and I can’t thank them enough for making our weekend so memorable.

Ate at the restaurant when coming in from a bareboat charter. Great food and service. Inside and outside tables good value. Had the beetroot salad and jerk chicken. Seafood pasta also very good. Will come again

The hotel is far from everything. There is nothing around. Beach with no lounge chairs. Leaks in the villas. It is located next to a very poor neighborhood. We were afraid to go out. Two days without hot water and mold in the room. Cleaning very late we had to call several times. Concierge does not work. No help. We will not return.

The location was great and close enough to the village to go each night for dinner. The shuttle service was also very convenient. The atmosphere was nice and relaxing which is just what we were looking for on our honeymoon. The rooms were great and definitely recommend at loft room if it’s an option! The daily cleaning and the value of the room was also great.
