Grand Hyatt Playa del Carmen Resort

This is the best hotel with exceptional views, beach and pool. Great spacious rooms with climate control and Comcast tv. It’s downtown where everything is just steps away. It is not all included and doesn’t need to be because of the location. Staying at a near by all included would be a downgrade with smaller pools and rocky, small beaches. The spa was beautiful and peaceful. They have incredible staff with gracious Carlos concierge. Bar staff Mary, Yair, Adrian, Jaidy, Daniel and Johnny. Supervisor and trainee America and Sara. Excursion coordinator Victor and crew, wonderful house keepers and professional security and lifeguards keeping us safe and secure. To address some other reviews, it’s not that loud, yes there’s music on the beach, yes you can still hear the ocean, the beach is cleaned daily, the staff will treat you well regardless of the type of package you have. The place is very well maintained. I was very well cared for and will return to this hotel. The sales pitch on arrival was annoying but I didn’t let it ruin my day. Thanks guys! See you again soon!

We had the most amazing experience !! The dinner at the Grill was phenomenal !!! Our server Luis Miguel was awesome and went above and beyond!! The food was delicious! All the staff were very helpful. The private dinner was an experience my wife and I will never forget !!!!

The ambience was beautiful, truly relaxed atmosphere laid back, but as upscale as any Manhattan restaurant The staff was on top of everything and our server augusto was wonderful The true star of the show is the food … Every dish was amazing….

Luis Miguel was incredible, extraordinary, perfect—unmatched in kindness, naturally warm, genuinely caring, and helpful. It was a true blessing to have met him. From the starter to the dessert, including the main course, he was friendly, attentive, and truly listened to us. He even offered to take our pictures. With a genuine desire to please, he kindly suggested several times to take photos of us—an experience we’d gladly repeat a thousand times over.
