Esencia is an absolute rarity, unlike anything I've ever experienced with a hotel. My twin brother and I had an unforgettable trip here & we will remember if for a lifetime! Esencia is peaceful, intimate and feels both luxurious and a place where you can heal and relax. What made our stay truly special was how effortless everything felt. Going and eating breakfast at the beach cabanas after the spa became our daily routine. We'd settle in and get served right away, and the kitchen was so accommodating about customizing our breakfast so we could eat healthy without missing out on anything delicious. Every morning we woke up to fresh pastries and coffee waiting outside our door at 8 AM, which was such a nice touch. The spa was unbelievable. Each day my brother and I would walk out feeling like an entirely new person. One of my favorite moments was playing tennis with my twin brother on this hidden court tucked into the jungle. Beef Bar was exceptional. The food was excellent and the ambiance at night is intimate and perfect for a special dinner. But what really sets Esencia apart is the people. The service and hospitality here is what makes it world class. Every staff member genuinely cares and you can feel it in every interaction. This is hands down one of the best wellness hotels in the world. If you want an exclusive, unforgettable experience where you can actually relax and recharge, this is the place. Can't recommend it enough.

The spa is a masterpiece in both design and atmosphere, unlike any other I have encountered. We enjoyed a couples massage that was deeply relaxing, romantic, and genuinely magical. Throughout the property, there is a pervasive sense of intentional calm and refined beauty. Surrounded by lush nature and sightings of wildlife such as coatis and iguanas, it felt as though we were living within a luxurious beachside jungle. The concierge team was exceptional, with Noah in particular going above and beyond to ensure every detail of our stay was flawless. The boutique featured a beautifully curated selection of items that I truly adored, reflecting the same thoughtfulness and elegance found throughout the hotel. The level of care and attention to detail was unparalleled. I can say with complete confidence that Hotel Esencia surpasses every resort I have ever visited. It is a destination I already long to return to, and one that belongs at the very top of anyone’s bucket list. It is the kind of place that lingers in your memory long after you leave.

Nestled between Tulum and Playa del Carmen, this boutique estate feels like a private sanctuary, beautifully preserved, intimate, and rooted in the history of its original Italian duchess owner. The moment you enter the property, the quiet luxury, lush grounds, and pristine Xpu-Ha beach set the tone for an unforgettable escape. We celebrated our wedding here in November 2025 with 35 guests, and it exceeded every expectation we had. I chose not to hire an outside wedding planner, and the on-site wedding coordination team (Karla and Karina) supported us so personally and thoroughly that I never once felt stressed. From the planning process to the seamless execution, they handled every detail with such care, professionalism, and genuine warmth. Our guests were blown away. Many said it was the most beautiful and special hotel they had ever visited. The room block was well handled, the preferred vendors were exceptional, and the entire event felt elegant, effortless, and deeply personal. Even after the wedding, our guests continued to rave about the food, the thoughtful service, and the serene, uncrowded atmosphere.
