The St. Regis Kanai Resort, Riviera Maya

We traveled to the St. Regis Kanai in December 2025 as a family of four, with children ages 4 and 5. As frequent travelers and Platinum Elite Bonvoy members, we have high expectations and this stay exceeded them in every way. I rarely leave reviews, but our experience at this property was truly exceptional. The resort and our suite were stunning, but what truly set this stay apart was the service, which was among the best we’ve ever experienced. Our butlers, Kopa, Raul, and Jose, were attentive, responsive, and consistently went above and beyond, most memorably by arranging thoughtful nightly surprises in our room for our children. Service throughout the resort, from breakfast to the pool and beach, was outstanding. Our family has several allergies and dietary preferences, and every team member was impressively knowledgeable, attentive, and accommodating. A standout example of the staff’s thoughtfulness occurred during a margarita-making class we attended. While we participated, our kids were happily playing nearby, and the manager of the St. Regis Bar completely unprompted organized a mocktail-making class just for them so they could feel included in the experience. It was such a special and memorable touch. One of the highlights of our stay was a family photography session with the onsite BEAM photographer. We’ve done many family photo shoots over the years, and this was by far our best experience, resulting in our favorite photos to date. Our photographer, Valentina, was wonderful, and despite the shoot taking place on a Wednesday evening, the photos were ready to view within 36 hours. She even surprised us with a beautifully produced still and video slideshow, which was incredible given the short turnaround. Coordination with Gary for scheduling and purchasing the photos was seamless and accommodating throughout the process. Overall, our stay at the St. Regis Kanai was exceptional from start to finish. We created unforgettable family memories and cannot wait to return.

We had an overall amazing time. The food was top quality and the service was exceptional. The location is beautiful and meticulously clean. The staff was excellent cant wait to go back.

My daughter and I had a great trip to St Regis Kanai. They property is outstanding as well as the staff, we can’t wait to return!

Carlos was the best bartender at the Regis bar. He was there every night and remembered all our drinks. The Foosball table was a lot of fun, our teenagers enjoyed playing against the dad’s and the bar staff enjoyed watching the competition.
