Our stay at the St. Regis Kanai Resort was excellent overall. The service was outstanding, and the staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and attentive throughout our visit. However, I do feel it's important to share a concern regarding our experience after returning home to the U.S. Unfortunately, both my guest and I became very ill shortly after our return. We are confident that it was due to something we ate or drank at the resort. After nearly a month of ongoing medical tests, it was finally confirmed that we contracted a gastrointestinal illness, and we are now undergoing treatment. I want to emphasize that this is not intended to discredit the resort or its staff in any way. Rather, I’m sharing this to raise awareness and encourage the resort to take even greater care with food safety and sanitation practices. Guests planning to visit should also be mindful of what they eat and drink. The illness we experienced was extremely painful and difficult, and we would not want others to go through the same. Hopefully, this feedback helps improve safety measures for future guests.

We are just leaving our two-night stay at the St. Regis Kanai. My husband and I enjoy travel and genuinely appreciate excellent service. We both agreed that the service at this property exceeded recent Four Season, Waldorf and Ritz stays. They are doing service well! The property is GORGEOUS. The highlights for us were our pool day at the beach club, and the beautiful room with a plunge pool. You will not be disappointed with this classy, service-oriented resort!

Beautiful and well kept hotel! Service was AMAZING! The beach is soft and you can snorkel in the water in front of resort, though it is mostly grass fields with some star fish. You can sign up to snorkel or dive at the reef really close to resort.

One of the best resort properties in Mexico! The resort itself is stunning. We had a double queen room with a plunge pool overlooking the mangroves and the ocean in the distance. Dining at toro and chaya was topnotch. What set this resort apart, however, was its level of service. The word “no” is not in their vocabulary and every single team member that we encountered went above and beyond to ensure our stay was flawless. Mario, Christian and Carlos at the main bar took extra special care of us every evening as did both Marco’s & Alejandro at the pool. The entire breakfast team at Chaya ensured we had a great start to our day. Our personal butlers Alejandro, Rafael and Erick made sure we had dinner and class reservations. Nancy at the spa gave me one of the best massages I have ever had and thank you to Paola for opening the spa early so my daughter could buy a hat! Impeccable service all around! We will certainly be back St. Regis Kanai!!

Came with my wife to celebrate her birthday. Check in was easy and our room was available. The hotel grounds are immaculate. Public spaces are very zen like and relaxing. The room had a lounge pool which was amazing. We ate at Toro and Victor was our server. He had some great food recommendations and made the night memorable. The food was out of control. Ate at Chaya the next night. The food was good and our server Ricardo was great. The last night we ate at Ki’is. Had some of the best guacamole ever. Food was amazing too. We hung out by the beach everyday. The waiters Diego and Alejandro were very attentive. They also brought out little snacks and drinks every once in a while. The mango sorbet hit the spot when it was the middle of the afternoon. Only complaint about the beach is the seagrass. Nothing you can do there but the sand is amazing. They do have butlers which helped us arrange dinner reservations before we arrived and helped set up reservations during our stay too. We had to leave a day early and the butler was a little slow to respond to my request for help in getting a taxi. I called the front desk myself. Overall would definitely recommend and would come back in an instant!
