Overall, I was disappointed with the experience here after seeing such glowing reviews for the resort and would not return. I do want to say that the servers work so hard and the property itself is beautiful, especially the room. I want to shoutout a few workers who gave impeccable service: Julio and Jesus by the pool and Ernesto on the beach were great! The reason I would not return is due to the inconsistent and at times poor treatment I received here: it seems as if you’re pushed to spend more money and tip everyone despite already being all inclusive and don’t get me wrong, we are tippers however I don’t think I need to tip every single person I encounter. One night we ordered room service and when my husband was chasing the server out the door to give the tip he forgot to give the server, he caught the server cursing us out under his breath in Spanish. On another particular occasion, we were asked by the manager to essentially get up from pool chairs that were empty to accommodate other guests. I also ran out of sunscreen and asked two separate workers where I can *buy* sunscreen and was told I did not need to buy it, to point them to where I was sitting, and that the pool manager would bring me sunscreen. Manager then came over and said “sorry the free SPF is only for Inspira members.” The food at the restaurants is also very hit or miss and does not deliver the “gourmet” culinary experience marketed. Lastly, rooms are not soundproof at all and it sounded like someone was rearranging furniture in the room above us everyday and you can hear everything outside. Definitely not 5 star or luxury experience.

Fantastic vacation

First time in Cancun and Brenda and I had the most wonderful experience. Our hosts Brandon and Pingting were always available and assisted us with whatever we needed. Every venue was an exceptional experience. We are already planning for a future trip. All the staff made us feel special. We thought the Inspira upgrade was worth the price but think anyone would have a great time even at the base level rooms.

Great stay but room for improvement

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

We stayed in January 2026 for 10 nights, this was our first time staying here having previously stayed at Secrets Moxche and Impression Moxche. What we liked: The hotel is beautiful, we loved the modern design and the room was fantastic. We had an ocean view king room, building 2 ,5th floor with a lovely outlook. Housekeeping did a fantastic job and the minibar was replenished daily along with the refreshing of the room at turndown. The location of the room was good, nice and central to everything. We found the hotel easy to navigate once we found the shortcuts. Cut through the conference centre, this gets you to building 3 or just walk up the walkway from the beach straight up, it’s not too far at all. The grounds are kept beautifully and the beach is great for walking. You can walk in both directions. Fantastic choice of restaurants with great menu choices and most of the time the food was good. We liked the restaurant reservation system and found it really easy to book the restaurants on our phone. We were up at midnight on a few occasions and booked the steak restaurant then as that was the most popular and midnight is when new reservations become open for the next day. The 2 coffee shops offered great tasting coffee and treats. Lots of activities on offer throughout the day. Room for improvement: We arrived in the evening around 7.30pm and check in was friendly and speedy but no one showed us to our room so we had to find our own way. It would be nice if someone took us to our room as you could easily get lost. On check out no one asked is how our stay had been or wished us a good journey, she just said ‘are you checking out’, checked our room account and said goodbye! Not very friendly at all and not a great way to end the holiday. On a whole the restaurants were good. At the Mediterranean restaurant, Cala Di Luna, on our 1st visit the food was delicious and the service good but on the 2nd visit we had the same starters but this time the food was served cold and service not great. Same with the steak restaurant, Los Abrazos, 1st visit was fantastic, 2nd time, the service was really poor, we didn’t get offered any more drinks after the first round and the steaks were really tough and fatty. The pool side restaurant, Limon Y Sal, the food was served cold. The food and service at the other pool side restaurant, Bikini Azul was fantastic. At the Italian, I had the cheese wheel pasta made in front of you which was delicious but my husband’s pasta dish came at the same time and was cold by the time mine had been made. Maybe they should have brought my husband’s dish after mine had been made. Minor point, but the coffee shops could do with changing up the ice cream flavours as it was the same everyday. Hot breakfast buffet items were always lukewarm warm to cold no matter what time we ate breakfast, they are left uncovered so this is probably why. We ate breakfast at El Suspiro one morning. We placed our order of fruit to start then pancakes and eggs Benedict. It took 40 minutes for the fruit to arrive and when the pancakes and eggs arrived they were cold! The main pool is a very crowded place and the reserving of sunbeds in full force. You had to be down early to reserve one and we didn’t witness any towels being removed from those that had been reserved for long periods of time. Towels could also be removed from sunbeds more efficiently when the sunbed had clearly been used and people had finished using it for the day (no belongings left on the bed). There was no where for you to put your used towels when you had finished with the bed. At the quiet pool there wasn’t such a rush for sunbeds, except for the upper level, these were reserved early, but the other beds were in the shade most of the morning so not reserved so quickly. Service at the Lobby bar was awful. We came here twice for drinks and the service was so slow. We ordered our drinks one occasion but they didn’t arrive, the server noticed and went to chase it up but half an hour later still no drink so we left and went elsewhere. Overall, we had a great time but not sure I would return.

Best all inclusive resort in Mexico!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

Wow, what an incredible resort. This is by far the best resort we have been too in Mexico. Not only is it absolutely beautiful but the staff and services are excellent! The resort sits on what is considered the “quite” part of Cancun and it was extremely quiet and relaxing. The location of the resort is also very safe. We had to drive through multiple gates to get to the resort which gave us peace of mind. The rooms are very clean and beautiful. We love the bathroom and the bathtub it was perfect for a couples retreat. They also offered complimentary snacks, full fridge filled with multiple drinks, and 2 bottles of wine in the room at no extra cost. The pools they have are gorgeous. There is lots of seating and different options for what fits you. Definitely reserve a spot by the pool earlier in the morning as it gets packed pretty quickly. The beach also offers lots of different seating areas as well. In early March when we went the beach was very nice with little seaweed. The restaurants and bars are the best food and drinks we’ve had at a resort. There’s tons of restaurants which lots of options including many vegan and gluten free friendly foods. Dinner is usually by reservation but breakfast and lunch are walk in. We never waited for breakfast or lunch they always sat us very quickly. Now the staff there and the experiences they offer is like no other! Everyone, from the minute we step out of the car, we’re extremely nice and inviting. They were so helpful with getting around the resort and answering any questions we might have had. They would also remind us of events and show they had going on. Restaurant staff were incredible. Very considerate and friendly. The experiences they offer were amazing. They had something planned almost every hour whether it was exercise classes, different tours, drink classes, drink tastings, art classes, couple class, and pool/beach sport activities. All in all an amazing resort! Definitely would love to come back here again!

A great way to spend her birthday week

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

Let’s start with the service. Our room butlers, Aline and Martin were the best. Anything we asked for was handled right away and they surprised us with a few things we didn’t. The overall experience was fantastic. Great location, relaxing atmosphere. Try and get a room on the upper floors for the view. As far as value, it is not a bargain priced resort, but you can spend a lot more money and get a lot less. It is very clean. We have had no issues with noise in our two stays.
