ATELIER Playa Mujeres

I'll be the first person to tell you that I'm not a very fancy person and my first impression at this hotel was that I punched above my weight. This was a once in a lifetime wonderful and luxurious experience for my husband and I. We did pay extra for INSPIRA and that was so nice but I really think you could have a really good experience here without it. From the front desk, to the butlers, to the waitstaff - everyone here is so friendly and helpful. The location is beautiful and so is the grounds. Our room was out of this world - it was so beautiful, and the amenities were great (and it smells AMAZING both in the room and without). The pools were great and the beach was lovely too (despite some of he seasonal sargassum).

High end resort, fantastic food options for a foodie, and just overall an amazing resort. Pool was massive, plenty of room for everyone, tons of seating areas with umbrellas. Pool swim up bars were great, Lazaro at the one swim up pool was the main show for my group. Guy was absolutely amazing! He knew what we wanted when coming up and made us new things to try and we loved him. Amazing bartender!

Relaxation at its best!!!! This is the fourth visit to Atelier Playa Mujeres for my husband and I. We feel at home as soon as we arrive; from most lovely scent in the air as you walk into the resort to the “welcome back” from the most gracious staff. We have traveled all throughout the United States and Europe, but there is no comparison to the hospitality and outstanding service we have always received at Atelier. Amazing food, and stellar (top shelf) drinks. We always stay in the “inspira Suites” which we definitely suggest if you can splurge. Our butlers ( Martin and Aline) on our most recent went out of their way to cater to out every need. They even had little romantic surprises set for us too 💕 Every single staff member during our trip was so lovely and courteous. This place is truly paradise !!! It’s our “happy place” ……. 😊

Did inspira suite and spent a lot of time at their Oceanside private pool. Vicente, Jesus and Julio were amazing and took such good care of us. Maria Dolores… hands down one of the best restaurants of my life. Incredible all around. And shout out to Hiram, best butler ever.

Most of all, my experience with Jahir at El Suspiro was genuinely different than any other server. He was humble, extremely attentive and friendly, and all around, he was down to earth and personable. I would highly recommend specifically requesting him. He will be your friend by the time you leave! Next, the location was super easy to get to, we chose to go by car rental starting from the airport. The atmosphere was peaceful, full of humbleness and care, and the rooms were constantly cleaned and maintained. Room service was easily usable each morning or even late at night and we could even request certain assistances with the room if needed. It could have just been our neighbors, but things were extremely quiet and I believe soundproof, and since it was our honeymoon, we also got extra amenities and care (see photo). If you’re a man wondering if this is the place for your first trip as a married couple, it is well worth the money. Thank you Jahir and Atelier!
