Hunter's Country House

Hunter’s Country House was one of the most beautiful hotel experiences I have ever had in my life. It was a complete experience in every way, in terms of service quality, cleanliness, and the professionalism and kindness of the staff. The hotel and the cottage also feature very beautiful views that create a sense of comfort and relaxation, and the surrounding area is absolutely wonderful and adds even more to the charm of the stay. A truly exceptional experience in every sense of the word, and I highly recommend it.

We love Hunters Country House but this is the first time I’ve noticed a few cracks in the veneer.. some of the furniture is tired and needs replacing or a facelift. I only point this out as if they are going to charge the rates they do they can’t have old worn sofas in the rooms and have the paint peeling from all their dining chairs in the breakfast room. Just little things that need to stay at a certain level to maintain the level of luxury if they want to charge the current daily rates.

Just perfect! The Room (Cottage), the Garden, The Pool, the Staff, the Main Building. Pure Class. Thanks guys!

We had a fabulously relaxing stay at Hunter's, passing through on our journey along the Garden Route. We dined at both Zinzi's and Tsala and thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

Loved this quality hotel. Beautiful gardens, tastefully decorated rooms and superb food and service. Will definitely be back
