The Plettenberg

The Plettenburg Hotel was absolutely amazing. We were only there two nights and I wish I had booked a longer visit. The hotel itself is spotless, and hearkens back to a gentler time with overstuffed couches and exquisite decor. The staff was so helpful and friendly, and the food at the restaurant was phenomenal (both breakfast and dinner). Having breakfast on the patio and watching the sun come up over the infinity edge pool over the ocean was breathtaking.

We stayed at this fabulous hotel for 5 nights. The staff, room, food, parking in fact there is nothing bad could be said regarding this fantastic hotel. The staff were absolutely fantastic and the room was spotlessly cleaned every day. The food was so good that we ate in it every night, and there was a great choice to pick from. There is free parking which is manned by security staff 24/7. The location is just off a great beach and also within walking distance from the town centre. Brilliant hotel all round and definitely worth a visit. Thank you for a great time, and great staff

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at in awhile! Every detail was thought through, and the staff were very kind and helpful. Special shout out to Chantel who really took care of us, ensuring we had a great vacation.

Absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel. Full of character and charm. Probably my favourite hotel of the past 40+ years of travel. I especially thought the staff were the warmest and friendliest I've come across.

The Plettenberg deserves a perfect score. From management across the board including all staff members, service is exceptional. Entire property is beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and very well maintained. Food of a very high standard, both delicious and well presented. Outstanding service from the travel desk who arranged our airport shuttle with a very professional company.
