Borgobianco is a magnificent resort surrounded by the characteristic Apulian countryside and in a cool elevated position with respect to the nearby wonderful Apulian coast. A refined and elegant environment welcomed us inside an enchanting “borgo” (traditional farmhouse), where the white stone all around the premises reflects the sun's rays, highlights the varied and well-kept surrounding greenery, and above all ensures fresh environments throughout the resort. The rooms were fully in tune with the architecture of the village and guaranteed us the best comfort. Wonderful prickly pears, olive trees and typical Apulian dry-stonewalls crown the beautiful outdoor swimming pool, an oasis of relaxation and tranquility. In the morning, the entrance to the breakfast terrace was breathtaking, allowing an extraordinary view of well-cultivated fields below and a beautiful blue sea in the background. A pleasant breeze accompanied us in the tasting of genuine and first choice products, locally harvested. The Apulian evening event was very popular, starting with a refined aperitif on a balcony facing a splendid sunset. Going down to the courtyard of the village, the atmosphere was truly magical. A wide variety of colors struck us: typical Apulian tablecloths on the pretty outdoor tables, Apulian-style lightings, an overall gorgeous outdoor set-up with bunches of lemons, chilies, onions etc. ... A cheerful local band with dancers offered typical music and dances, involving the guests. Of the exquisite buffet, full of special Apulian delicacies, the cheesemaker's corner where fresh mozzarella was prepared, the cooking of “panzerotti” kneaded and fried at the moment, and the delicious barbecue have remained unforgotten. All this was made possible by a highly professional staff and impeccable management. From arrival to the final greetings, all our needs were amply satisfied, with a smile and cordiality. A heartfelt thanks to the director Giosita, to Simona and all of the excellent staff. We truly count on a new stay soon.

This was our first stay in Puglia, here for seven nights in a junior suite king and we were pleased. Prior to arrival and then once here the entire front desk staff was very helpful. We enjoyed our daily conversations about the area-mostly in English. Twice daily housekeeping was outstanding! The White restaurant staff was also friendly and helpful at breakfast, dinner and for cocktails. We enjoyed the Masseria in the beautiful countryside and after returning from tours relaxed in the pool. Loved being surrounded by watermelons, olives, grapes, and potatoes. Polignano a Mare was nearby for dinners too. Would highly recommend.

Wow this hotel is fantastic if you are looking for a laid-back calm atmosphere We stayed here as a family for in total 9 nights in summer 2026 and genuinely can't praise it enough. It is 5* but not in the way some 5* stars are - the service is absolutely top notch but in a relaxed and friendly way rather than more formal 'in your face' kind of hyper-attention that you often see. This makes for an intensely relaxing experience Reception - the staff were extremely welcoming always cheerful when you passed through whilst also being super efficient, helpful and knowledgeable Restaurant and breakfast - again the staff were extremely efficient and friendly - whilst attentive they weren't constantly interrupting to check everything was ok - but if you needed anything they responded immediately - this contributed to the breakfast experience being a calm and relaxing start to the day Pool and gardens - immaculately maintained - the pool water is crystal clear and no debris. There is a perfect balance of sunbeds to guests ratio - we were there at high hotel occupancy and always managed to secure enough beds poolside. The attendant again was present when you needed anything and was able to second guess your requirements without being intrusive. The pool area was beautifully relaxed and contributed immensely to us unwinding at record speed. Rooms - the rooms are tastefully decorated and the staff are always helpful and the cleanliness was perfect We very rarely would return to a venue - but if we ever fancied a break with a rapid relaxation then we would not hesitate to return I would be happy to recommend this for families (albeit probably best with school age+ children) or couples - a truly excellent gem of a find!!!

The hotel staff were generally friendly and attentive although some seemed inexperienced. My main issue was noise. At the pool a large group with screaming noisy kids were allowed to completely dominate the place. I also object to iPads with no headphones at dinner. I was just there post a big family holiday for a rest so I did not find it as relaxing and peaceful as I had hoped. The staff I spoke too about it all agreed with about the noisy kids issue. It’s marketed as a rather chilled, soothing place which it could be but not if they allow toddlers and families shouting to each other all day long.

We stayed four nights at Borgobianco Resort & Spa as a family, booking two Deluxe Rooms. The property itself is beautiful, peaceful and ideally located for exploring the surrounding area. The rooms were comfortable, the grounds were well maintained, and every member of staff we encountered was friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, the overall experience fell well below what we would expect from a hotel that positions itself as a five-star resort. The main issue was not a lack of staff, but rather a noticeable lack of training, consistency and attention to detail. Throughout our stay, service often felt uncoordinated and reactive rather than professional and proactive. This was particularly evident at breakfast. There were often several staff members present, yet tables were not cleared promptly, used plates remained on the table for extended periods, coffee was rarely refilled without asking, and fresh cutlery was not consistently provided. While the staff were always pleasant, there seemed to be little awareness of what guests needed. On several occasions, staff members appeared more engaged in conversation with one another than in attending to guests. Breakfast itself was disappointing. Even something as simple as a cappuccino varied significantly in quality from one day to the next. Hot dishes could be ordered from the menu, but many appeared to be pre-prepared rather than freshly cooked. In a region renowned for its food, and at a hotel of this category, we expected considerably more. The lack of consistency extended to other aspects of the stay. On our first evening, turndown service included a lovely cookie presented in a small glass bowl – a thoughtful touch that suggested the level of care one hopes to find in a luxury hotel. However, although turndown service continued, these small details disappeared after the first night without explanation. Another recurring issue was housekeeping. On several occasions, staff would knock and enter almost simultaneously, without allowing sufficient time for guests to respond. Travelling as a family with two young adult sons, we found this intrusive and frustrating. It is a basic courtesy that guests should be given adequate time to answer the door before staff enter the room. The fitness room was also disappointing, with water and towels frequently not replenished. What makes this especially disappointing is that the hotel clearly has great potential. There appeared to be plenty of staff on duty, and many of them were genuinely charming and eager to engage with guests. However, there seemed to be a lack of training, supervision and consistent service standards. Borgobianco is a beautiful property with lovely people and a wonderful setting. However, based on our experience, it currently feels much closer to a good four-star hotel than a true five-star one. With stronger management, better staff training and greater attention to detail, it could be exceptional.
