A life changing experience! Nadine and her team work tirelessly to ensure guest comfort. The setting is spectacular and the ethos of the lodge inspiring. Our guide Werner was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the landscape and animals. We were sad to leave…..a little of our hearts will always remain in Gorah.

Be Gorah!
We stayed for two nights and had a great time. Located with a waterhole directly in front with plenty of wildlife to see without leaving the lodge. Our guide Werner was fantastic. The staff at the lodge were all delightful, welcoming and helpful. The room was private, spacious, well appointed and serviced constantly. The food and drinks were good and plentiful. Everything seemed to operate without a hitch. Overall we would throughly recommend this lodge.

A superb experience
Gorah is a unique and extraordinary experience. The camp lodge is exquisite with magnificent furnishings. The water hole adds another marvelous dimension. The entire staff is extremely professional and most gracious to the guests. Our guide, JJ, was one of the finest guides I have ever had. His knowledge, energy and personality make him outstanding. The food is very good and beautifully presented. Being around these Addo elephants is a unique experience, one I was thrilled to have repeated after so many ank you for making our stay so memorable.

A Once-in-a-Lifetime Safari Experience We Will Never Forget
Our two-night stay at Gorah Elephant Camp in Addo Elephant Park was without doubt the highlight of our entire South African / Zanzibar trip and the best safari experience we have ever had. From the moment we arrived, everything felt completely authentic, beautifully curated and deeply special. The camp itself is simply stunning, perfectly positioned within the park and the level of service was truly off the scale - warm, attentive and effortlessly professional. Seeing elephants wandering around the camp was unforgettable and made the experience feel magical. Our guide, Chevin, was absolutely brilliant. His knowledge, enthusiasm and storytelling brought every game drive to life - and he even managed to get me genuinely excited about the birdlife (a first!) - not just the elephants! The service team were exceptional. Nadine, front of house, welcomed us with such warmth and professionalism and made us feel instantly at home, while Zorro and the rest of the waiting team ensured every meal and moment was perfect. This was a truly wonderful experience that we will never forget. We could not recommend Gorah Elephant Camp highly enough - a once-in-a-lifetime safari that exceeded all expectations.

An incredibly special place
An incredibly special place. It’s not often I’m sad to leave a place but the Gorah did that to us! Luxury in the most incredible setting and with such a relaxed vibe. The staff superb - special mentions to Donald, Cheryl and our fantastic ranger Riaan. The history of the park and the calmness of the animals added to the experience. Thank you for such an amazing experience and I do hope one day we’ll be back!
