Excellent hotel for the money. The service was impeccable. The room was quiet and well-appointed. The food was good. The library and public rooms were beautiful. Use valet, as otherwise parking downtown is awful, which isn't the hotel's fault. Just the way it is in Portland. It's now the only place we'll stay in Portland!

Great location, high quality, and incredible value. The staff were charming, and we really loved the reading room. We each ended up selecting a book from their large library to read during our stay.

This is an older historic hotel but the rooms are very generous and the bed is extremely comfortable. We asked and received an early check in since one was available and Brandon provided us with excellent customer service every interaction we had. The library is a spacious lovely area to relax. This hotel provides great value.
