The Heathman Hotel Portland is one of only 30 hotels in the world to enjoy a four-diamond rating for 27 consecutive years. And that’s not the only reason why a stay here is memorable. Bright, eclectic rooms compliment an art collection that includes Henk Pender and Andy Warhol, and a cozy lending library stocks signed editions by authors who have stayed there – more than 2,500 titles to date, all available to be delivered to your bedside. A recent landfill-free “green” renovation makes this pet-friendly hotel one of the best environmental options in Portland.

Absolutely loved our stay at the Heathman Hotel! The location is perfect—right in the heart of downtown Portland, making it super easy to explore the city on foot. The hotel has a wonderful atmosphere, with a warm and inviting vibe as soon as you walk in. One of my favorite parts was the library—such a unique space, filled with books and artwork that give the hotel real character. It’s a great place to unwind or just take in the surroundings. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. They really made the experience feel personal and comfortable. If you’re visiting Portland and want a hotel that’s stylish, well-located, and full of charm, the Heathman is a fantastic choice. Highly recommend!

The Heathman Hotel is a lovely place to stay while enjoying Portland. Within walking distance of some of Portland's famous landmarks, the Hotel and staff are amazing. The Hotel staff were very accommodating, the library was a fun addition to our stay as well. When visiting Portland, I would love to stay here again.

Beautiful boutique hotel. Cathryn and her staff went above and beyond to make our Portland visit special. While small, the room was lovely and comfortable. We enjoyed walks in the downtown area and always felt safe. We enjoyed Portland coffee in the beautiful library each morning.

Bed and Pillows were great! It was central to everything we wanted to walk to which was a bonus. My family felt safe and it the room was so quiet, no street noise heard at all which was so nice as we don’t live in the city. It was cool to stay in a piece of history.

Nice historic hotel that is well appointed and kept up, with a beautiful library space, welcoming bar, and great front desk staff. Grateful for the loaner bikes they have for exploring the very bikeable surrounding area - excellent location as well! (disclaimer about the bike photo - NOT easy to get up to Washington Park with the single speed bike : )
