We had an incredible stay at The Nines Hotel! From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was exceptional. Juan and Janessa made our check-in seamless and genuinely welcoming- they set the tone for the entire visit. Dinner at Urban Farmer was another highlight. John and Josh provided outstanding service- friendly, attentive, and so knowledgeable about the menu. Their care made the meal feel extra special. Every interaction throughout our stay reflected true hospitality and attention to detail. We left feeling completely taken care of and can’t wait to return. Highly recommend The Nines for anyone looking for a luxurious and genuinely warm experience in Portland!

The Nines is an AMAZING hotel bit nothing compares to the customer service. It was remarkable. I was Greeted warmly by Michael and the check in was swift. Then I requested for a room closer to the elevator and was accommodated by Juan. He walked me up to my old room after finding me a new room, dye to me locking myself out. He was so kind and definitely is giving The Nines a great name. Thank you so much Juan and Michael for making a long tiring day so refreshing. - Sunshine (Guest)

We are still here and couldn’t be happier with the service and hospitality. We were greeted and then pampered by Juan at the front desk. He and the rest of the staff made my husband feel so special for his birthday weekend. The room upgrade was extra lovely. Leaving will be hard.

I will never understand how this hotel earned a five star "luxury" label. It more closely resembles a three-start Embassy Suites. The hotel has no pool, no spa, no jacuzzi, no sauna. The gym is fairly good size with good equipment. The decor in this place is tacky, mismatched chairs, fluorescent lighting, cartoon character wall paper in the elevators. The staff is friendly enough, but many of them were not well-groomed for a five-star hotel (wrinkly clothes, unshaven, etc.). Urban Farmer restaurant has limited breakfast options and the food is mediocre and poorly presented, at best. The room was mostly fine save the exposed drywall sockets, chipped and worn door. Nothing in this hotel is 'luxury'. I think the aim of the decor was to be whimsical, but it turned out really tacky. These are all 'champagne problems,' but when you're paying a small fortune to stay here, you expect more and the hotel just couldn't deliver. Will not be returning here.
