I had a great experience at The Sentinel. Even though we were vacationing in Portland, the hotel was so comfortable that we just wanted to stay in. The decor was classy and unique and the temperature and environment was comfortable and clean. The bed was what a hotel at this stature should feel like. The staff was friendly and helpful and we had a great time in the neighboring bar and restaurant. Highly recommend for your next stay in PDX

We had an excellent experience here, the staff is so friendly! The location is also 5/5, so many walkable options nearby.

I haven't been to this property since it was the Governor Hotel. I love the updates, but I especially loved our room. We sprung for the terrace level king, which has a terrace with fire pit and view of the city. The room was spacious and the dark green walls were comforting and calming. The decor is a combination of old school Portland and modern craftsmanship. Gorgeous. Location was fantastic. That area around 13th is really coming into its own, and it's about a five-minute walk into the Pearl. The downtown was bustling, which was so nice to see. Service was really nice. Two notes: no mini-bar in the room and the pillows weren't comfortable. But this still gets five stars because it was really a perfect room and experience.
