Weekend getaway at the Sentinel Hotel

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 6 days ago

We arrived and the bellboy unpacked our car, loaded it onto the cart and delivered it to our room. The room was glorious. Especially appreciated the fireplace. It was very cozy for a winter getaway. Jake’s was excellent for breakfast and lunch. The wine bar was extraordinary. The hotel is conveniently located near many fun city activities. The architecture was impressive. The interior design was fabulous. The facilities were impeccably clean. We’ve stayed in many downtown Portland hotels. The Sentinel was by far the best!

Great place to stay in Portland

My first time staying at the Sentinel. Could not have been more pleased. Stayed on the 6th floor the room was very quiet and dark. Jake’s restaurant was outstanding and you can go to it without ever leaving the hotel. Staff was friendly and efficient. I travel to Portland every year and now I have a place to stay every year. Fabulous

Pleasant and unique antique hotel in downtown Portland

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

Great experience. We had a terrace room and we were lucky enough to have a day without rain. Great listening to the sounds of city and enjoying the view. The hotel is very nice, though it is showing some wear and tear. It's an old hotel, so we weren't put off by this at all. The only solid criticism was the bed's mattress, which was very hard. In the age of pillow tops and memory foam, this was a bit jarring and we woke up a bit stiff and sore.

It was a lovely hotel and I was extremely happy to get such a decent rate. I really appreciate it. Be price difference.

It was a lovely hotel right downtown in Portland. I went there for this fabulous wedding at the centennial Hotel. and I wouldn’t have been able to do that with the price of the Hotel was actually asking. I’m on a very tight budget and I was so blessed that my girlfriend actually paid for my hotel. I would use this company anytime.❤️
