Il San Pietro di Positano

We recently spent 3 nights there and were absolutely pleased with the hotel and its amenities. The breakfast was delicious. The views were astonishingly beautiful. The staff were attentive to our every need and the GM Andrea Zana did all he could to enhance our holiday!

Absolutely stunning!! Best hotel / resort I’ve ever stayed at!! We will be back. ☺️

Stunning location just outside Positano. My bedroom was lovely with a balcony and coast/sea view. The common areas were wonderful too - the large room incorporating reception and concierge had lots of seating areas and felt really relaxed. So much to see and photograph inside and on the grounds but the jewel is the famous terrace with majolica benches overlooking Positano - I spent hours admiring the terrace and the view. The elevator to the beach meant I could eat at the beachside restaurant and view the tennis court in its unique setting without tackling hundreds of steps. Loved the cute 'bits and bites' van on the terrace. Service throughout was wonderful, whether housekeeping, concierge, reception, boutique, catering or waitstaff. Smooth transfer to/from airport and additional trips were arranged for me. There is also a free shuttle 24/7 to the edge of Positano. Generous free provision of minibar drinks/snacks in room and delicious inclusive breakfast with a huge buffet choice and hot food cooked to order. Staff rushed to open doors for me (I am on crutches) and escort me up steps, and boutique searched stockroom to find perfect souvenirs for me. This was meant to be a 'one and done' trip but I really hope I can return - would go in late April next time to see the grounds in fuller bloom but everything was already beautiful early April.

Magical in every sense , pure heaven for those that appreciate quality service, food, pampering and stunning views. It doesn’t get any better. Room 14 for incredible views of Positano.

The staff and property are the best we’ve experienced and should be commended in every way and we appreciate how well we were taken care of. The concierge and reservations team took care of everything perfectly from the moment we made the booking (even allowing us to shift the days due to our circumstances without any issue) we were also upgraded to a larger room which was a nice surprise. The room and fixtures and amenities are superbly maintained and the bath and shower are modern. The bed is extremely comfortable. The views from all areas of the hotel are stunning and the location being outside the main part of town allows for a quiet relaxing experience. All the services from restaurant bookings including transport and recommendations, where to shop in town were given clearly. The best managed property we have experienced everything was immaculate. But most importantly the staff at all levels were superb. Very friendly efficient and took care of everything with an Italian smile and warmth. We had a cooking class that was great and got to experience local cooking. We used the complimentary shuttle to and from town that was a bonus and the complimentary boat service as well. We had dinner at Zass which was wonderful. Overall if anyone wishes ultra luxury yet friendly and quality service this is the most recommended hotel you could stay at in the area and that blows the competition away.
