Great air-con !

We stayed in a twin room. Very reasonably priced. The reception had free iced water which was a nice touch as the temperature outside was 34 degrees. I was apprehensive about the air-con however the whole hotel was air-conditioned perfectly, including our bedroom. The window opened also. Didn't eat there this time but have previously with no complaints.

I won't recommend this hotel!

It was impossible to get hold of night staff; I had to go online to find the phone number, yet no response despite calling several times. The towel was dirty and I complained on the first night about a used pant (left by previous guest) under the couch, but despite this and a request to have my room cleaned, nothing was done. I returned to my room on my first day to find it exactly the same - not cleaned and the pant not removed. It took 2 days for the hotel to heed my request to have my room cleaned and despite this, they still didn't remove the pant! I'm only giving it 2 stars because the breakfast was ok.

In need of improvement.

A strange hotel. Having the reception on the second floor sets the tone. Why not have a desk on the ground floor? So that you can have a reception on the second floor, manned intermittently by staff undertaking different duties too. Slightly early check in? No chance. It's 15.00 and no earlier. Why not be like every other hotel in the world and exercise a little discretion? I requested to have my room cleaned - there are signs instructing you to do this as it doesn't happen automatically (why?). The lady at the desk wrote it down; it didn't happen. I shan't be visiting again.

Grrat location and lovely clean rooms. The self check in process was really easy and the breakfast was good. Q-Park right next door which was handy and you get a discount code for staying at the hotel which was nice. Overall very happy and will stay again
