Excellent location. Close to train station. Warm and comfortable atmosphere. Rooms are warm comfortable and everything needed for a lovely stay. Food is lovely especially the unlimited breakfast.

don't bother with early check-in as we had to wait over 90mins for our room to be ready. My wife waited in her wheelchair desperate to lie down but had to sit in severe pain.

I had the worst experience here possible. I had been as a child and loved it, came back with my partner and it had gone to rubbish. We were an hour and half later to check in as there were “no rooms available”. We were given a room which was dirty and not cleaned from the last people (see pics below). We then got a different room and had to move our stuff again, to then be given a free drink as compensation! I tried to complain and get something else and was referred to the website and not even given a number or email to contact. Not to mention, the toilet facilities for the reception were dirty. There were splatters of faeces across the men’s toilets (again see photo if you wish…). Service was appalling and I would definitely not recommend this hotel at all! Ruined what was supposed to be a lovely first day in Liverpool.

Overall our stay was good, the hotel needs to be refreshed, carpets in communal areas worn, breakfast was acceptable but needed to be refreshed quicker and kept clean. Also, needed to ask for cereal bowls on 2 mornings and pastries not refreshed once gone. Stayed at a few Premier Inns and this one needs a refresh.
