Hotel Villa Franca Positano

Our perfect stay in Positano !! The location is gorgeus, on the top of the mountain where the view is really impossible to forget, maybe, for the same reason, is not very easy to go walking but the shuttle service and the private taxies are a good solution.

The hotel is very well located at the top of the hill leading into Positano and has exceptional views of the town and beach. The public areas are well appointed and the rooms are well kept if a little small, but I think this is fairly common in Positano. The staff are friendly enough, front desk, waiters and cleaners alike. The service at breakfast is simply not good enough though, orders are often wrong but more commonly just don't turn up. It's not unusual to have to order coffee and tea 2 or 3 times. After a couple of days this becomes increasingly annoying and was not confined to us as the tables around us were having the same problems. There doesn't seem to be any reason for this as its not busy. Service over all isn't what I would expect.

I actually stayed at Villa Franca in August 2018. The hotel had just opened at that time and wasn’t as popular yet. With its staff, location, and design, I predicted that it would rise in popularity. The view is stunning, and there is a rooftop pool. Don’t miss a morning walk either — the people are very warm and welcoming.

Amazing room cleaning services couple times a day, We celebrated our 10th anniversary at this hotel, and the team took care of the entire organization. They helped us choose and decorate the location, arranged the table setup, and even took care of the music. Everything was done to perfection stylish, tasteful, and absolutely Instagram/Pinterest-worthy! You can tell they have a great eye for detail and really know the latest trends. The hotel truly feels like living in an art gallery, the entire lobby is filled with stunning artworks, creating a unique and inspiring atmosphere from the very first moment you step inside. The staff are just impeccable, perfectly selected, incredibly professional, and always so elegantly dressed. It really adds to the whole atmosphere and makes the experience feel even more special. These Italians really know what they’re doing, style “clearly” runs in their DNA.
