Andaz Prague

What a lovely day in Prague. It was memento. Beautiful property, amazing staff, great location. Staff are very polite, friendly, and professional. Family suite was very comfortable, and the Club Lounge was large. Breakfast in the lounge was very good, and it included a chef at the omelette station. Beer(on tap) and wine (5-9PM) are included at no charge. I liked how they had the beer glasses in the fridge to keep them cold. What an European Style. I really enjoyed staying here for the weekend and would highly recommend this hotel.

We were incredibly excited to stay at Andaz Prague to wrap up our honeymoon — a special journey that began in Budapest, continued through Vienna and Paris, and has been filled with unforgettable moments and top-tier hospitality at every stop. Sadly, Andaz Prague has not only fallen short — it has completely tainted the final leg of our celebration. As American Express Platinum cardholders, we’ve consistently received complimentary upgrades without even having to ask — in every hotel across multiple countries and continents. We’ve stayed on all seven continents, and this trip was no different — until we arrived in Prague. At check-in, we politely inquired about our upgrade, which should have been automatic through the Amex Fine Hotels & Resorts program. The front desk agent barely took a second to respond before bluntly stating, “No upgrades available.” The answer came so quickly and dismissively, it didn’t feel honest — so we checked the Andaz website in real time and found multiple rooms and suites available, including the one just above the category we booked: a King Room with a View. We even took screenshots. When I returned to calmly point this out and give him a chance to correct the situation, he doubled down and still refused — no apology, no effort to make it right, no sense of service. He then said that the only next level up is a suite and they were “not available,” despite visible availability online. The lack of transparency and complete indifference to our celebration was shocking, especially for a property that claims to be five-star. This hotel experience has left us with a very bitter end to what had been a magical journey. We were not asking for a miracle — just for the standard recognition and care extended by nearly every other property we’ve visited. It’s clear Andaz Prague is not in the business of honoring loyalty or even basic hospitality. If you’re celebrating something special, expecting professionalism, or simply looking for honesty — look elsewhere.

Andaz made our prague experience more beautiful…. 1. the location is super central… walking distance from most places 2. the staff was super duper welcoming and kind … from the bell man to the front desk (rajat, katrina, akshit) all are amazingly helpful. pedro is super good with guest experiences and haitem, the night manager, was very helpful with our checkout and transfers. 3. the rooms are regal and comfortable 4. the breakfast format - a la carte is good as it avoids wastage and gives so many options Andaz, we will come back to Andaz for sure soon.

Andaz is clean, quiet and conveniently located in Prague near Old Town and the Charles Bridge over the Vltava River. Zem Restaurant has excellent food. This is the best hotel in Prague.

The best hotel I have stayed at in Prague for business. The restaurant was excellent and the waitress I had all week was fabulous.
