Andaz Prague

You need the backstory to truly appreciate this stay—because it wasn’t just any hotel night.  I was in Prague for work, booked into a meeting hotel where reaching my building required what felt like a roller-coaster ride. I told myself to deal with it—it was just one night. Not every stay has to be five stars… come on, Passport Prima. But then my room turned out to be the very last one at the end of the hall, overlooking an HVAC unit—and I spotted not one, but two bugs in the bathroom. That was my breaking point, and it set the stage for a midnight escape that would lead me to the unexpected refuge of Andaz Prague. Since I'm currently in my World of Hyatt era, I immediately called Andaz Prague to see if they had availability. I patiently waited until just before 2AM, hoping my colleagues had abandoned the bar and retired to their rooms (the only way to the exit is through the bar)  I packed only the essentials into my tote and planned my escape. The exit felt cinematic--my heart racing the entire way down. The bar was empty, only the front desk in sight. As I waited for my Uber, I’m sure they wondered where I was headed at 2AM—but this is Prague. This stay at Andaz Prague wasn’t planned—it was a late-night rescue mission! Andaz Prague proved itself to be the ultimate safe house. I love the location, the interior design, and the overall energy of the place. Even with such a brief, unplanned visit, it left a strong impression. --- 👁️👁 VIDĒ! — SEE Arriving at Andaz Prague in the dead of night felt like discovering an oasis just when I needed it most. Against the quiet streets, the softly glowing façade and warm light spilling from the entrance immediately put me at ease—elegant, calm, and unmistakably inviting. The warm, unhurried greeting from the midnight front desk team sealed the moment, and after bugs, bars, and a midnight escape, I knew I had absolutely made the right decision. Even in sleep mode, I could sense that Andaz Prague is a place full of energy, likely buzzing with life just hours earlier. --- 👄 GUSTĀ! — TASTE At reception, I was offered some refreshing flavored water, which felt like a small but thoughtful gesture after such a night. Regrettably, I opted out of breakfast—only because I had to leave at 6AM to sneak back to my meeting hotel. I know the breakfast would've been delicious. --- 🤚🏾 TANGĒ! — TOUCH My sanctuary for the night was Room 436, and it was absolutely perfect for my 3½-hour nap. The king room was thoughtfully designed and ideal for a short stay—everything I needed, nothing extra to think about. From a full set of amenities (dental kit, makeup remover, and all the essentials) to the calm, well-edited layout, it felt immediately reassuring. The shower was phenomenal—the water pressure felt like a massage, exactly what my nervous system needed after the stress of the escape. Plush towels sealed the deal, adding to that immediate sense of comfort and care. And then there was the lion on the wall—perhaps Aslan—quietly watching over the room, which somehow made the space feel even safer, like I had a built-in protector for the night. --- 🌙 DORMĪ - SLEEP The bed was exceptionally comfortable—so much so that it was genuinely hard to leave. The moment my head hit the pillow, I was out cold. Despite the short stay, the sleep was deep, restorative, and exactly what I needed before facing the next day. By morning, it was time to sneak back to my meeting venue. Once again, luck was on my side, and I didn’t bump into a single soul—making my quiet return almost as seamless as the escape itself. --- 🖤 Final Thoughts Andaz Prague proved to be the ultimate safe house, with warm, attentive service that immediately put me at ease—even at 2AM. Its central location, thoughtfully designed interiors, and lively yet calming energy make it a standout choice, whether you’re planning a proper stay or, like me, in need of a last-minute refuge. Even with such a brief, unplanned visit, it left a strong and lasting impression—and I can’t wait to come back for a proper stay to experience it in full. --- 🧳 Sensory Passport Stamps SOLO (5/5) Safe, walkable, and ideal for solo travelers—even at 2AM. Location was central but slightly apart which was wonderful- very walkable to the center. Room was beautiful and clean, very elegant hotel.

As my usual hotel was fully booked, I looked last minute for a new one for my recent business trip. Did not have many requirements: city center, parking, good breakfast. Andaz not only fulfilled but exceeded expectations: very kind staff, stylish and comfy room, excellent breakfast. I would even consider to have a longer stay here, also with the family. A random booking turned into a great experience.

I have been to many hotels and this by far was one of the better experiences I have had. The staff was very friendly the whole time, answered any questions I had and assisted me throughout the stay. The rooms were very nice, provided a bottle of wine as I arrived and some other drinks. I used Amex platinum so I had the breakfast plus $100 credit to use for food and drinks. All of the food was delicious, breakfast was all you can eat with choices to order. Room service was also efficient and tasty. The location of this hotel is also perfect because it's 10-15 minute walk from old town and all of the sight seeing activities you want to see, but not it a busy location itself. The gym and spa was a nice bonus to use to. Overall, I will definitely be recommending staying here for my family that is going to visit Prague soon, and would recommend anyone else who is visiting to stay here. My experience here was also my first time at an Andaz Hyatt and they have given me a great first impression, making me want to go back.

This hotel is a beautiful gem located in the heart of downtown Prague. It offers a range of fantastic amenities, including a complimentary coffee station and sodas, which are small but thoughtful touches. The staff was incredibly polite and helpful throughout our stay, making our experience truly enjoyable.
