Reviews for Andaz Prague

A remarkable designer hotel - simply beautiful in decor .

The hotel was absolutely beautiful, very clean and the rooms were spacious. The location was great in that it was near many attractions but yet on a quiet street. The service was excellent.

Lovely new hotel very central in Prague.

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 days ago

Beautifully furnished new hotel in very central location, easy to get around with the tram right outside and just a 10 min walk into Old Town. Level of cleanliness of rooms very high. Staff members are helpful and courteous. Very nice breakfast though expensive if you purchase separately. Some rooms are close to the tram tracks and so some noise can be expected. A higher floor may remove some of that. Nicely equipped gym and lovely spa. Recommend.

We are coming back as soon as possible !

Excellently located in the city center, steps from all the main tourist attractions. The rooms are very comfortable, clean, and of high quality, as are the restaurants where we enjoyed excellent dishes. Special mention should also be made of the staff in general for their professionalism and dedication.

Inexperienced front desk leading to terrible experience

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

My parents arrived yesterday and had a check in issue. What followed was probably the worst customer service experience I've ever had. To be fair, most of the issue was due to the Hyatt reservations phone agent. But the Andaz Prague is to blame for the fact that it led to that. The front desk could not find their gifted GOH certificate attached to the booking, and even gave wrong information that it was not applicable to points bookings (which it is). Then it was up to my parents to call me to call Hyatt to resolve it. Given that this is a Hyatt issue, I think it's unacceptable that the front desk made it a problem for my parents to figure out. When I was stayed at the Andaz Tokyo and had an issue, they called Hyatt reservations on my behalf. This took over an hour from my busy work day to resolve, remotely. During which the Hyatt reservations agent apparently tried to contact their font desk 3 times and no one picked up. In the end I was transferred to an agent who was totally unprofessional and incompetent - completely misunderstood the situation and yelled at me. As a result I even called Hyatt to report her. They listened to the call recording, agreed with me that the behavior was unacceptable, and forwarded the information to the agent's manager. It was that bad. In the future, please train your staff to resolve these issues and resolve them on behalf of the customer. The assistant manager handled it it seems, but I should not have spent over an hour on this only to be verbally assaulted by a Hyatt reservations agent. I also requested an upgrade for my parents given the issue but not sure that they ever came through with that. Super disappoint way to be welcomed to the hotel.

Exceeded expectations

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

Loved our stay, exceeded expectations. The staff is top notch going above and beyond yo be helpful, friendly, etc. The hotel is well located, the suite we were in was lovely with contemporary furnishings & loads of space. The included breakfast had tasty options daily and the free happy hour cocktails were delicious. Special shoutouts to Mila the doorman & Jack the concierge. Only cautions: the bed was a bit firmer than we like & the fushion restaurant food was a but weird & disappointing but hey, we tried.
