Reviews for Art Nouveau Palace Hotel

Unique flair and service

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 9 hours ago

We stayed the second time here. The hotel has a unique flair, fantastic location for sightseeing, and the staff is very friendly. Specifically, Stepanka is extremely caring and nice during the breakfast. The breakfast is amazing. The bar is also nice for a night cab.

Palace was absolutely "The Best"! We are frequent non-business Prague travelers. We discovered the hotel this year and this will now be our home away from home. The service is Perfectni (Czech), they could not do enough for us. The Breakfast Buffet managers, Jan and Stephanka, are professionals and they set a very high standard for their staff through example. Very friendly, personable. The 3 Glorious foyer crystal chandeliers are also visible from the second floor breakfast buffet. The hotel is well managed, maintained and spotless. Beautiful too! Conveniently located near two tram stops and Wenceslas Square and Old Town.

Great hotel

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

Quiet hotel which is located street behind Wenceslas square. 9 min walk to old town. Lidl shopping store at the end of the street as well as the main shops. Bedroom comfortable and had a great nights sleep. We were B/B and breakfast was delicious which catered for everyone. There is cafe connected to lobby of the hotel - not a lot of selection to the menu but meals were reasonable prices. Staff could be more friendly on the reception desk and welcoming when we arrived. Very basic introduction from reception. All other departments of staff were amazing. I would stay here again and recommend.

What a fantastic hotel. Stayed for 4 days was impressed with all elements of it. We arrived early and the staff couldnt do enough to get our room ready, though we were happy to just leave our cases. I dont know the name of the lady on reception but she had a trainee badge on. The room was a good size, clean and well presented, bathroom was spotless and room cleaned everyday. The breakfast was superb, never struggle for something to find and never rushed. I was surprised that the bar closed very early but hardly something to ruin a holiday ! I have since recommended this hotel to many people and would come again.

A perfect ending to our river cruise on the Danube

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

A perfect ending to our river cruise on the Danube. Although we booked through Viking, I feel the warm welcome and excellent service is extended to everyone! The multilingual staff is attentive and seemingly always there when you have a question or need a recommendation. Spacious rooms and elegant surroundings await. The location could not be better as it seems to be at the epicenter of anything a first-time visitor would want to do. Old Town, great restaurants and shopping are only steps away. The breakfast buffet at the Palace is the absolute best way to start each day in Prague: a great selection of standard fare a week as Czech specialties. We enjoyed the food and great service each day.

Stayed at the Hotel Palace Praha from September 20-24.... This portion was the highlight of a month-long birthday present to my daughter. We couldn't have picked a better hotel or location to start her first journey in Europe. The staff and hotel went out of their way to ensure we enjoyed our stay. By way of thanks, I have been talking about that experience to all my friends and relatives. I would hope to try to duplicate the experience, but am sure it was once in a lifetime.

We were extremely pleased with Hotel Palace Praha and we were treated as royalty. The highlight of the experience was the dinner. The hotel restaurant is magnificently decorated in Art Nouveau style (as is most of Prague) and the Maitre d' greeted us as old friends. We had three waiters and they included a bottle of wine. The piano player made the evening special (and romantic) and the food was outstanding.

The service at the Hotel Palace Praha was exceptional. Not only did they arrange a car to meet us at the airport, they decorated our lovely room with a beautiful bouquet of fresh flowers, candles and rose petals with a note wishing us a happy honeymoon. The restaurant staff was among the most friendly we met on our whole trip. The live jazz band in the restaurant even played for us the first dance song from our wedding. I’ve recommended it to everyone I know...

In October we traveled to Prague, Czech Republic, and the Hotel Palace Praha. The hotel was wonderful, luxurious but unpretentious, and our room was beautiful with one of the hotel’s few balconies. The service was exceptional, the location perfect, but the highlight was dinner. I am something of a 'foodie', both gourmet and gourmand, and we have eaten our way through three-star restaurants of a number of countries, but I have never had a better, more graciously served, or more memorable meal than that included in our package - and the (included) outstanding Czech wine was a revelation.
