Prague is a bohemian city reminiscent of Paris circa 1920. So it would make perfect sense to launch a cutting-edge concept in an unconventional location, and that is where Buddha-Bar Hotel comes into play. Located just a few steps from Old Town Square next to St. Jacob's Church, the historic six-floor structure housing the hotel has a modern edge that appeals to travelers of all ages and interests. With just three-dozen rooms and a trio of suites, you can expect the unexpected, with your own Japanese garden for some added zen. Slumber in an oversize dragon-motif jacaranda bed, among a color wheel of red and gold, peppered with ebony accents and alligator-print chairs. Other appointments include espresso machines, gourmet mini bars and televisions exuding a mix of music created by the resident DJ.

The atmosphere was absolutely wonderful, enhanced by lovely music and a true sense of comfort throughout my stay. The staff were consistently attentive and welcoming — whether at the reception or in the breakfast area — ensuring that every detail was thoughtfully taken care of. The hotel’s excellent location added even greater value to the experience. A heartfelt thanks to Robair for the outstanding service and warm hospitality. It was truly a memorable stay

Everything is 10/10 (or 5/5 in TripAdvisor 😉) From the beautiful rooms, to the incredibly attentive staff, there is literally nothing to fault. Would stay again in a heartbeat and should we come back to Prague, will go nowhere else. The breakfast is also great... bone broth in morning is a must!!!!

Most memorable stay in Prague. Perfect location. Walking distance to all the best attractions. Yet quiet street. Surrounded also by the finest dining. Rooms are extraordinarily spacious with top amenities. Breakfast is delightfully opened till 1 pm. Ala carte menu included to a buffet spread. Delicious and spoilt for choice. Shout out to the breakfast crew. Efficient, attentive and friendly.

We came to the Buddha bar with our family to have a drink in the evening. We had a wonderful evening and enjoyed the calm athmosphere in the lounge. The waitress Sofie was very kind and made the experience excellent. Thank you for this nice stay, Sofie!!!

Unfortunately the hotel doesn’t have any cooling air conditioning. This results in a very uncomfortable stay and disturbed sleep. We bought chocolate for Easter and it turned to soup with the heat in the room. To make matters worse, reception called the room at 10am on the weekend to say they forgot to take passport details at check in and we needed to come to reception urgently. The call woke us from a rare lie in on a rare day off work. Hotel reception seemed more intent on completing their paperwork after their mistake than caring about guest convenience and comfort. No service recovery offered. . . On a positive note the room is nice and breakfast good. Location also good. But for me the hotel should be openly advertising they don’t offer cooling a/c in any room as I don’t believe they can be 5 star rated when they don’t have this function. We stayed in April so I can only imagine how awful the heat would be in the room during summer.
