Reviews for Fairmont Golden Prague

One of the best hotels in Prague

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

I have stayed here 3 times an the last time was in May 2026. The first time was almost a year earlier just a few months after opened. On all fronts has the Fairmont Golden Prague exceeded my expectations way and beyond. A beautiful renovated spacious hotel right at the river and in walking distance from everything you want to explore in Prague. The rooms are nice, modern and well equipped. The Fairmont Golden Prague has honoured my Platinum loyalty more than I could have imagined on multiple occasions. The restaurants serve and excellent choice of local and French cuisine and the lobby bar offers a selection of the best (signature) cocktails in the world. A final word and compliments to the staff. Each and every staff member from the front desk to housekeeping, congierge, management and restaurant make you feel welcome and valued. This is one of the view hotels in Prague - if any - with an outdoor pool.

A Magical Stay at Fairmont Prague – A True Masterclass in Hospitality

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

From the moment we stepped into the Fairmont Prague, we knew we were about to experience something truly special. The hotel exudes elegance, with a seamless blend of timeless grandeur and modern sophistication. Our rooms were nothing short of exquisite, flawlessly designed with an eye for both comfort and style. The textures, lighting, and thoughtful details created a serene, indulgent atmosphere that made it feel more like a private residence than a hotel room in a busy city. What truly elevated our stay, however, was the outstanding anticipatory service from every single team member. From check-in to farewell, the staff were gracious, polished, and genuinely committed to ensuring every detail of our stay was perfect. They anticipated our needs with an effortless precision that made us feel incredibly well cared for without ever being intrusive. A special mention must go to the team at the Golden Eye Bar, who were simply exceptional. Their attentiveness, warmth, and impeccable service made every visit a highlight. On our final evening, we left the bar only to find the team waiting for us at the lift area with our coats in hand, ready and smiling. That level of thoughtfulness is rare and deeply appreciated. And then, there is Kate Hruba the jewel in the Fairmont crown. Kate is the embodiment of magical hospitality. She has a remarkable talent for understanding individual preferences and crafting experiences that feel effortlessly personal. Her ability to "pull the magic out of the hat" transformed our stay from exceptional to unforgettable. She made every touchpoint meaningful, and her presence was a constant reassurance that we were in the best possible hands. This visit was a celebration of my uncle’s 80th birthday, a milestone we wanted to mark with something truly special. Thanks to the Fairmont Prague and its extraordinary team, it became a memory we will cherish forever. The hotel went above and beyond at every turn, creating a deeply personal, luxurious, and heartwarming experience. To all who made our stay so unforgettable: thank you. We left with full hearts, lasting memories, and already a longing to return. Lane & Gomery family

3 night pre cruise stay

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

We stayed at the Fairmont Golden Prague for 3 nights It was a pre cruise offer. The hotel is newly renovated and it is a great place to stay. Breakfast at the restaurant was spot on. In the evening you have the option to sit outside for dinner. We tried everything from steak to Czech soup. All was tasty. If you’re staying here and don’t want to walk downtown to eat, you won’t go wrong by dining here.

Beautiful renovation

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

We've been in this hotel before renovation(then it was InterContinental) we enjoy our stay so, when we heard, that hotel has been reopened we decide to make reservation during our Global Champions Tour Playoffs stay. We took two rooms... one with a beautiful view for Prague architecture(street),second with a riverside view. Hotel is full of modern art. There is also a modern art gallery in hotel complex(separate entrance). We enjoy modern style of hotel, delicious breakfast and wellness area( part of the pool is outdoor).

Exceptional family stay!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

My family and I had an exceptional stay at the Fairmont Golden Prague from July 17 to July 20. We booked a Deluxe Room One King Bed River View for my parents and a Fairmont Room Two Twin Beds River View for my brother and me. Upon arrival, we were delighted to be upgraded to Signature Rooms with River Views. The rooms were always very quiet, exceptionally clean, and everything felt brand new. They featured state-of-the-art technology, including a modern remote-controlled drapery system and automated lighting. At the same time, the beds were incredibly comfortable, dressed in refined, soft linens that made for a wonderful night’s sleep. The bathrooms were impressively spacious and equipped with Le Labo toiletries, a Dyson hairdryer, heated towel racks, and many other thoughtful amenities. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, with a modern and elegant yet inviting atmosphere. Since we were there during the summer, we also got to enjoy the hotel’s indoor-outdoor pool and the gym, the latter featuring top-of-the-line equipment. The location is basically unbeatable. In my opinion, only the Four Seasons can rival it. The hotel is just a short walk from Old Town Square, the main shopping areas, and the Charles Bridge, making it easy to explore Prague on foot. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of fresh, high-quality fruit, breads, eggs, cheeses, and many other options, including an omelette station. Most importantly, the staff truly made the difference throughout our stay. Everyone was warm, attentive, and always ready to help. One concierge in particular gave us outstanding insider recommendations and tips that only someone who truly knows the city could provide, making our time in Prague even more memorable. The hotel is certainly not cheap, but we all agreed that it was well worth the cost. We couldn’t recommend this hotel highly enough and will definitely stay there again when we return to Prague.
