Fairmont Golden Prague

Highs and lows: After many years of renovation, the Fairmont Prague reopened a year ago. The concept and intentions were commendable. But now, after a year, clear cracks are showing. Take the Green House area alone, with its new food concept, fewer options, and a significant decline in flavor—or the rooftop bar with a menu consisting of nuts, caviar, and oysters—sorry, but who came up with the idea to scrap the menu?—but never mind; the host doesn’t even think the guests are worth a beach umbrella in the summer. How about just talking to the guests for once, instead of deciding on impractical concepts from the office? I don’t even want to get into the playground in the lobby bar—the management told me that, as a business guest, I was the problem. It’s a good thing Prague has a spectacular selection of 5-star hotels—and the Ritz-Carlton is opening soon, too.

Excellent location, all staff went out of their way to help you and couldn’t have been friendlier, all food was top quality including breakfast - so well worth paying for it! Amenities were great too, we spent an afternoon by the pool and spa.

We particully appreciated our treatments. (Lavender dream journey) The therapists were very experienced, the pressure and touching were perfect. The atmosphere was very relaxing. The restaurant within the spa also offers great service and exquisite quality of meals. I will be back each time i am in Prague!

I stayed here in the Fairmount Gold King with executive longe room access. I wish to give my sincere gratitude to the dedication and attentive staff in the Lounge Both Katarina's Marcus and Francis very welcoming. The Spa in particular Victor who was great and very approachable and Igor from the Greenhouse Bar with great knowledge of the local beer and suggestions. I also decided to have breakfast in the Greenhouse rather than the peaceful lounge best French toast I have ever had and food was superb. and a great host Victoria who served me. You are all great ambassadors to the company going above and beyond. I Had a wonderful stay and all the staff where very lovely. My room had a good view overlooking the river it was really comfortable bed with lots of pillows coffee maker water etc. The room was very quiet no noise from other people. Being a solo traveller I didn't need to have my room changed with fresh towels as saving on the environment when not needed. Room, shower all very clean. Easy to get to and find from the airport as I took local transport bus 59 and the metro very efficient and fast and a littler walk about 10 mins if that. Had a great stay relaxing by the pool using the sauna and whirlpool outside, plenty of towels, robes slippers and even down to fine detail in the changing room, some deodorant, hairspray, suntan lotion and some shower caps etc. Had lockers just using code with towel etc inside amazing. I had a visit to the Golden eye reservation recommended with a good vibe and DJ playing. I would thoroughly stay again and recommend the hotel. Hotel close to sights to explore within walking distance and being my first time in Prague I will be back to cover more ground and explore. Thank you to all who made my stay more pleasurable.

We had a wonderful stay at Fairmont Prague and were thoroughly impressed with every aspect of the hotel. The property is beautifully maintained, exceptionally clean, and offers a luxurious yet welcoming atmosphere. The staff were professional, friendly, and always willing to help, making us feel genuinely valued throughout our stay. Their attention to detail and warm hospitality truly stood out. The breakfast was outstanding, with an extensive selection of fresh, high-quality items and something to suit every taste. It was undoubtedly one of the highlights of our stay. Combined with its excellent location and impeccable service, Fairmont Prague exceeded our expectations. We would not hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Prague.
