In a World of Indulgence, be a Four Seasons

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 months ago

Having experienced Prague in the height of summer, I suspected winter would be more in tune with what I seek, yet it surpassed every expectation. This was the Prague of true magic, intimate, cinematic and quietly romantic. As someone accustomed to refined, perhaps indulgent habits, I almost resent staying at Four Seasons, because they execute hospitality with such precision that it raises the standard everywhere else. Anticipation of needs is not a promise there, it is a reflex. From Punta Mita to Madrid, from London to Dubai, among the many properties I have experienced, Prague stands confidently alongside the very best. Apart from two minor points, both handled promptly and graciously, the stay was flawless. My room was ready upon arrival, breakfast each morning was exceptional and thoughtfully tailored to my preferences, and room service operated with impressive efficiency. A special thank you to Jason at the Front Desk, to Santiago and Pedro in the restaurant, to Lautaro from Room Service, and my deepest appreciation to the Housekeeping team, whose quiet excellence never goes unnoticed.

Hotel Worth Five Stars

Another 5-star experience at Four Seasons. Like the week before, where we were able to get a room with views at Four Seasons Budapest, we also got a room with a view of the Prague Castle and river. Service was outstanding. After sloshing through melted snow and dirty slush, we were offered shoe shine (which included cleaning of soles) services every night. The breakfast bar was extensive and the menu to order from just as impressive.

A magical stay!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 months ago

Before we even got out of the car, Katia ran out to greet us by name and whisked us up to our beautiful room with a view of the castle. There was local apple juice and chocolate covered almonds waiting in our room. The bedding and bathroom amenities were luxurious. Breakfast was a huge buffet with all sorts of food plus egg dishes made to order. The only thing that disappointed was room service dinner. The selection was limited and not well prepared. The hotel has its own atm 8n a locked room off the lobby. The main areas were decorated beautifully for Christmas. Overall, it was a wonderful stay in a magical city.

The hotel itself is as expected for a Four Seasons, but breakfast is chaotically unpleasant.

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 months ago

As expected of a Four Seasons hotel, the hotel itself is in a good location, has a good design, and competent staff. Unfortunately, the breakfast detracts from the overall experience. On Monday at 9:00 a.m., a long line forms in front of the breakfast room. This line is in front of the main entrance door, which is of course opened from time to time. This makes it uncomfortably cold. The cold also seeps into the breakfast room. The atmosphere is bustling. Everything is available at breakfast, but it is cut into ridiculously small pieces and cubes (see photos). Table service takes forever, or you have to proactively chase after the staff. Drinks such as coffee, tea, or cappuccino have to be paid for separately, which you can find out from a price list placed on each seat. This is all very strange and unworthy of a luxury hotel.
