On our first visit to Prague, we settled on this hotel for a few reasons. The location was perfect for quick walks to the Jewish section, the main square, etc. Most sights were a 7-10 minute walk. We loved being able to return in the heat of the day, refresh with some water, rest and then enjoy our evening out. The service is what you would expect from a Four Seasons - friendly, professional and prompt. We enjoyed the morning breakfast buffet for the diversity and flavor. Special mention to Hanna who waited on us. She was attentive and pleasant. The best dining service we received in Prague. We did not opt for a room with a view although we could see the Prague castle just to the side. I imagine those rooms facing the river have an amazing view. Our first night we were tired and sampled room service and it did not disappoint. We opted for the bed with plush topper and body pillow. It was luxurious after a long day of walking. The separate shower and bath was nice and I appreciated the bath salts and loofa. Daily bottles of water were the perfect size to carry with us on our adventures. While we packed converters, it was nice to have one provided at the desk to allow for simultaneous charging of iPads. Best of all, the Four Seasons app made requests a breeze and the response time was quick. Each bedside had a phone charger provided. Although I will caution that when I used it, my phone heated and stopped charging. All in all, we enjoyed our stay immensely and would definitely return.

CONS; The rooms are outdated except the chandeliers in the rooms. The hallways has a stench but they try to cover it with Oud. The prices are over-inflated. Front desk and concierge are not very helpful. Break fast buffet was very small and not much choice. PROS; the location was central and the view in the water view room was stunning-

We had a lovely stay this Four Seasons. Our room was large and comfortable. Every member of the staff from the doorman to the housekeepers were cordial and helpful. We stay at quite a few 4 Seasons and this one was great. So close to the Charles Bridge and an easy walk to different areas. My husband uses the Four Seasons app to communicate to the staff our needs, like turndown service or delivery of ice. We never have a problem they always respond and deliver our requests. We loved everything about this hotel. I reviewed CottoCrudo separately. That was also wonderful.

I have a mixed review for the Four Seasons Prague. On the positive side the food was absolutely delicious- breakfast, lunch and dinner in Cotto Crudo. The restaurant serving staff superb- friendly, polite, and attentive. The location of the hotel is ideal in the old town close to many touring sights, restaurants and shopping. Unfortunately we were disappointed with some aspects of our stay. Upon arrival we had to wait at least 15 to 20 minutes to check in. Although the reception staff apologized- the time we had to wait to get settled into our room was too long. We booked an expensive suite with a view of the river. The room 331 was beautiful but the fan in our air conditioning unit of our bedroom did not work and we had to keep the door of our bedroom open to the living room in order to keep our room cool. We did not realize there was an issue until late in the evening and did not want to complain and have to repack and change rooms. On our first night, we did not receive turn down service. I complained to housekeeping. The next morning an assistant manager of housekeeping, David Sterling, came up to us at breakfast to introduce himself and apologize. He asked when we would like our daily housekeeping service and turn down service and promised we would receive both at our desired times. This was a great effort on his part. However, on our last night here the fourth night, we did not receive turn down service. I called housekeeping to complain and David was not available. So we only received turn down service for two nights out of four. This is unacceptable for a Four Seasons hotel. Finally we wanted to make a dinner reservation at the hotel restaurant on our final evening here. We went to the concierge on Sunday afternoon June 29th and he told us to go walk to the restaurant to make the reservation. He could have walked us over or called them for us but he basically dismissed us. The Four Seasons is one of our favorite brands and we’ve stayed in many of their hotels all over the world. In fact last August we spent four nights at The Four Seasons Madrid. That experience was absolutely superb in every way. In comparison The Four Seasons Prague fell short. Still a very good hotel - but not fantastic.

I have travelled for about 50 years and this is the BEST hotel I've ever stayed in. The level of service is exceptional at every level of the hotel. The room was very well laid out and kept extremely clean. The room temperature was great and the min-bar was nicely stocked and kept re-stocked. The service from the doormen, to room service to the front desk is outstanding. The hotel's location is great, very close to Charles Bridge and Old Town. The breakfast is also exceptionally good.
