If Heaven is a place on earth, it could be here. From arrival to departure a stay at Golden Well is a magnificent experience! Room was splendid, breakfast very, very good, and the hotel in all is very quiet and very comfortable. And, the surroundings are also beautiful! If we go to Prague again Golden Well will be on top of list of hotels...

The perfect place to stay while exploring Prague.

The perfect place to stay while exploring Prague. This hotel is nestled right beneath the castle complex so is an easy walk to that site. It is also well located for exploring the other side of the river along with the jewish section, astrinomical clock and other historical sites, while providing a quiet night for good sleep. Our room was lovely, with heated tile floors in the bathroom. The restaurant was also wonderful, providing beautiful views for breakfast, dinner and late night cocktails. The staff was exceptionally helpful.

Quiet place under the castle in Lesser Town. Great staff and rich breakfast. Very close to Prague Castle and Charles Bridge.

Great location near lesser square & Prague Castle, wonderful team - from the delicious breakfast buffet in the morning to start our day to the thoughtful turn down service each night featuring a sweet bite - the staff at Golden Well Hotel met & exceeded our needs and expectations. The well-appointed room with luxury features was a welcome place to return to each evening after a full day of touring. We enjoyed the complimentary coffee & snacks in the early evening hours in a comfy lounge area. My nephews, who were on a trip of a lifetime, had a 5-star experience, starting with complementary proseccos (a first for them) at checkin. I would absolutely stay here again & highly recommend it.

Superb hotel - you wont be disappointed staying here!

An absolute gem of a hotel hidden down a cobbled street right under the castle. A quiet spot within minutes walk from Charles bridge. The staff were very friendly and attentive and their attention to detail especially during breakfast was second to none. The food at breakfast was delicious and dishes were cooked to order alongside a beautiful fresh buffet. We had a welcome glass of fizz on arrival, complimentary drinks and snacks available in the lounge late afternoon and beautiful little cakes by our bed in the evening. The room was spotlessly clean and the bed super comfortable (with a pillow menu) after a busy day out walking. We had a huge double bath and lovely Rituals products. This was my first visit to Prague and we were so pleased we stayed here as it was central enough to pop back for a rest before the evening activities. We didn't eat dinner in the hotel but I know it would have been superb. Lots to do in Prague - many art galleries, the opera was superb and we also went to a jazz club. And of course all the popular places - the castle, old town, Spanish synagogue (the symmetry and pattern there is based on the Alhambra) but it was busy so choose wisely and plan carefully.

Hotel U Zlate Studne was fabulous! The staff was gracious and attentive. Our Grande Deluxe guest room included every amenity as described. The food was excellent! The property itself is tucked away in a residential area. It is within a few blocks of public transportation, making this a great home base for sightseeing and shopping. Five-Star Quality!

We spent 3 nights at this delightful hotel, and everything about the stay surpassed our expectations. The hotel has everything you could ask for in a luxury property, at very moderate prices. The location was ideal, within easy walking distance of most attractions, but a couple of short blocks removed from the tourist thouroughfares. The building, which is centuries old, is full of character. It has been tastefully renovated, with respect for the historic features of the architecture and decor. In closing, I hope to return to Prague sometime to see it in spring or summer. U Zlate Studne will definitely be my first choice.
