Stepping into Golden Well Hotel is like traveling back in time. Tucked between the Castle and Ledeburg Gardens in Prague, this 16th-century Renaissance building once belonged to Emperor Rudolf II and later to the famed astronomer Tycho de Brahe. The 20 bedrooms and suites and adorned with masterful reproductions of centuries old pieces recreated by the furniture designers of Richelieu. On a terrace beneath the Castle gardens, you can savor international cuisine with French influences at Restaurant U Zlaté Studne.

We had a wonderful stay here - the staff were so welcoming and helpful and we really appreciated the little extras, like the pillow menu, the bedtime nibbles and afternoon teas where you could meet other guests. It was very quiet and we slept well, the bed and pillows were so comfortable! We liked the detailed info when we arrived and the relaxed atmosphere throughout. Breakfasts were fabulous, with wonderful views and we really enjoyed dinner too. Probably lying o e our memorable hotels which we would highly recommend. Late check out ti.e at 12 was also helpful, avoiding the morning rush. Thank you!

What an amazing and beautiful hotel! The accommodation, grounds, and staff were amazing! Its right in city center and within walking distance to everything. Its very quaint and comfortable yet the amenities were incredible. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. From the time you walk in until you leave, they attend to every detail. The rooms were spotless and so comfortable! The attached restaurant was wonderful. I also highly recommend their taxi service to and from the airport. I never have to look for a hotel in Prague because I will stay there again without question.

Stayed here for two nights in a wonderful superior room - felt spacious and comfy. Bathroom and amenities were amazing, and we had such lovely nights rests. Close to the Castle and St. Vitus, easy to navigate to Charles bridge and the tram system (Sidenote: the tram system is awesome by the way!). The lounge were replenished with great treats to settle a bit of hunger before dinner. Now the breakfast restaurant was above and beyond! Lovely and attentive team working the mornings and everything we had to eat was so delicious. Thank you to the entire team of the Golden well - it was a treat!

It was so very good to return to the Golden Well this month. Everything about it is perfect. The location, the friendliness, the professionalism, the atmosphere, the food—all of it is amazing. If you want an Old Europe feel that also feels like home, this is your place.

The Golden Well Hotel was one of our best decisions on a trip to Vienna, Prague and Budapest. The room was lovely and very comfortable, the staff most helpful, the breakfast delicious, and an evening in the roof-top restaurant very romantic with excellent food and service.

Hotel U Zlate Studne was fabulous! The staff was gracious and attentive. Our Grande Deluxe guest room included every amenity as described. The food was excellent! The property itself is tucked away in a residential area. It is within a few blocks of public transportation, making this a great home base for sightseeing and shopping. Five-Star Quality!

HarperWe spent 3 nights at this delightful hotel, and everything about the stay surpassed our expectations. The hotel has everything you could ask for in a luxury property, at very moderate prices. The location was ideal, within easy walking distance of most attractions, but a couple of short blocks removed from the tourist thouroughfares. The building, which is centuries old, is full of character. It has been tastefully renovated, with respect for the historic features of the architecture and decor. In closing, I hope to return to Prague sometime to see it in spring or summer. U Zlate Studne will definitely be my first choice.
