An ideal location, between the historic Old Town and the business district, combined with great service at Hilton Prague. All of Prague’s major attractions and shopping centers are within easy reach and the airport is just a 25 minute drive away. From delicious cuisine and stylish guest rooms, to our health club and meeting facilities, you’ll find an impressive list of amenities here at the hotel. But, just don’t take our word for it – plan your stay and see why we’ve been awarded ‘Best Hotel in the Czech Republic’ for six consecutive years now.

Worst then a 2 star hotel. No bell boy to take luggage. Made us do 2 rounds in car in -2 degree to unload bags from car. Worst part no towels in the room. Housekeeping takes 15 minutes to pick phone and 45 minutes to deliver towels. When informed to reception senior manager, she tells we are running shortage of towels so was not kept in room. Wow, what an excuse. U pay 270 euros a night and receive such answer. Missed our morning tour due to this. Day spoilt.

I am usually pro-Hilton in terms of lodgings but I can say without a doubt that the Hilton Prague is one of the worst Hiltons that I have ever stayed at. I do recommend AVOIDING it at all costs. There are better places to stay in Prague! Issues that I have: 1- inability to use the room phone to call reception/housekeeping/guest services - NO ONE picked up even after being on hold for 10 minutes; the place is overrun with people and clearly understaffed; 2- no bath towels provided in room - just hand towels - this was true of 2 rooms that we booked; 3- room had connecting door that was unlocked and could not be locked, bolted or secured - I did not feel safe in the room at all. The door security guard screws were loose and not properly secured so it was dead on arrival; 4- inconvenience to get in and out of hotel - have to pass through security/X-ray machine just to enter the hotel premise; 5- thermostat - inability to control room temperature effectively so the room is uncomfortably warm and much too hot to sleep in (opening the window is very noisy!); 6- highly overpriced. Spent US $1000+ for two nights...higher price charged just because it is heading into New Year's Eve's celebration. Only advantage is proximity to Florenc metro stop, bus station and a mini shopping mall across the street which has a grocery store to buy odds and ends. Overall, I highly recommend staying somewhere else in Prague and NOT at the Hilton Prague.

My wife and I stayed in the Hilton at the start of a recent Viking River Cruise. The hotel is a new modern facility with a large atrium. The breakfast has a good variety of items. The big drawback is the location. It is a good distance from Old Town and the Charles Bridge. It is in a dodgy neighborhood. We used Uber to get into Old Town and for our restaurant reservations.

Unfortunately, our stay at Hilton Prague was a disappointing start to our trip, particularly as a Hilton Diamond member, where a higher level of service and flexibility is usually expected. Our flight into Prague was cancelled and we were rebooked to arrive 24 hours later. I contacted the hotel as soon as this happened to notify them and asked whether anything could be done. Despite the circumstances, we were advised that the booking (a semi-flexible rate) could not be cancelled or refunded, which was frustrating given the situation. I had also booked one twin room and one king room, which was confirmed prior to arrival, but we were instead given two king rooms on the day. The reception staff came across as quite robotic and not especially welcoming or helpful. Adding to the confusion, when we arrived at our room there was a letter on the door dated the previous night asking us to come to reception because they had not received my passport or contact details - even though we had not checked in yet due to the flight cancellation. This felt like a lack of basic awareness of the situation. On a positive note, the room itself was clean and comfortable, and the hotel gym is outstanding - easily one of the best hotel gyms I’ve experienced. Overall, while the facilities are good, the service, communication, and lack of flexibility fell short of expectations.

Great service at Christmas Eve, special thanks to Petra for and Isaac. We really enjoyed our experience at the bar and the hotel.
