Wonderful stay in a beautiful place

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

Just back from a 3 day stay at this beautiful hotel. Staff couldn't do enough from booking to arrival and departure. Was greeted by reception and then Nicoll who greeted us with a glass of prosecco and sat us down to help and guide us through our stay. So informative and such a special touch! We had booked through a 3rd party but noticed that the hotel had an option of luxury rooms. We emailed and asked if room 402 was available for upgrade and advised it was. Had a little issue with an over booking but that was not a problem. Ended updating 2 nights in this room the "Ying and Yang" room that was over 2 floors. Gorgeous with huge hot tub, fully stacked mini bar, fruit and chocolates on arrival. Last night was in the "Suite of love" 401 with the biggest round bed I've ever seen. Again with fully stocked bar, chocolates and prosecco. Included in the stay was a 60 min private session in the spa which Nicoll added in a bottle of prosseco which was another lovely touch. Breakfast was an array of foods, every thing fresh and wholesome. Very tasty! Location was spot on for us. Situated at the bottom of the castle and within walking distance to almost everything. If booking tours I recommend you speak to Nicoll. We had a 4 hour walking tour that included food and beer and took you off the VERY busy tourist track and showed you more of the authentic side of Prauge . Our tour guide Jakob was fantastic! Will we return?? ABSOLUTELY!!

Very nice hotel with nice rooms. Management was very friendly, we were even offered to get upgrade for junior suit without any fees. Bathtube with hydro-massage was also a nice “suprise”. Breakfast was OK. Underground car park, no problem with reservation

Room was over two floors and had everything we could need. The private hot tub was in the main area but could be enclosed if needed, it was a lovely feature. Bed was enormous and very comfy. The free mini bar was well stocked and the fruit basket was replenished. A smart TV was in the room which made listening to music easy as we could connect up. Breakfast was included and overall very good. We also had included a 60 min session in the cave sauna which was beautiful and very relaxing. Only negative I have is that there wasnt a turn down service (first world problems) which was ment to be included, however we coped and managed to reorganise the scatter cushions ourselves 🤣 There are two flights of stairs in the room so if mobility is a problem I would avoid this particular room. We had a fantastic stay and I would recomend this hotel.

My husband and I stayed for a couple of days is this beautiful awesome hotel. You feel so welcome. The rooms are so beautiful, clean and comfortable. You really get spoiled with a great breakfast buffet. We had a very good dinner in the restaurant. I enjoyed an awesome massage and the spa is very relaxing. The staff is really very kind and helpful. We absolutely go again.

I can really recommend this hotel, location is great, many places we wanted to see areonly 5-20 minutes walk time. Road is nearby but we did not hear any noise, really good. Rooms were comfortable, clean, bathroom clean, we had everything we needed. Staff was very friendly :) Check-in and check-out process was fast. Breakfast was very good, restaurant too in the evening. I really enjoyed the stay!

Our stay at the Hotel Hoffmeister (August 2007) was excellent in every respect. Joined by friends from Ireland, we spent four wonderful days. Our only regret was saving dining in the Hoffmeister restaurant until our last evening. The meal was brilliant! Absolutely beyond expectations and delicious. Our junior suite was beautifully decorated; the service was always good; the staff always helpful. We want to go back to Prague and we couldn't imagine staying anywhere else but the Hoffmeister there.

We found the Hotel Hoffmeister to be extremely good and attentive to our needs. Upon arrival we were welcomed and invited to relax in the comfortable bar while they registered us and offered to help plan our sightseeing adventures. We also enjoyed the stone bath and massage in the hotel. The restaurant food and service was remarkable and friendly. We were always welcomed with a smile and personal attention.

In October, we spent four wonderful nights at the Hoffmeister Hotel in Prague. The hotel staff was incredibly helpful. The hotel itself was a gem! Breakfast with a view of the courtyard and dinners combining local favorites with contemporary cuisine. The hotel was wonderfully located, walking distance from the Prague Castle, from the Charles Bridge, and from nearly all other tourist attractions of Prague. We can't wait until our next visit to Prague, and we would never consider staying anywhere but the Hoffmeister.
