This hotel is fantastic. The staff are amazing and so much fun. Reception staff get a special mention. Sorry, can’t remember their names. Only had breakfast which was brilliant. A hot buffet breakfast rather than mildly warm! Excellent. The concierge lady was so helpful, booked our bus tickets for the next stage of our journey. I saw her helping loads of people with all sorts of requests. Lovely area, great for exploring away from the Old Town. Fabulous stay I would definitely recommend this hotel.

This is a lovely hotel. Very well located, walking distance to Prague Castle and Charles Bridge, and a short walk to the metro, tram and bus station. The hotel itself is pretty and clean, the staff are helpful and polite. The breakfast buffet has everything you could wish for to start the day. We stayed in the annex building. Although very close to the road and tram lines, the double windows meant that there was hardly any noise inside. The bedroom was clean and spacious, the bed was enormous and very comfortable. There was a separate work area with tables and chairs, we used it as our boudoir! The bathroom is amazing, built in the rocks, with a jacuzzi bath and a separate shower. Towels, bathrobes and slippers were provided, as well as basic toiletries. We also had the most relaxing massages at the spa. Well worth the money. We had an excellent stay at the Hotel Hoffmeister and we highly recommend it.

Beds shower and staff were excellent. The food not so good, especially the breakfast, the eggs were overcooked. I had room 102, it was comfortable (garden room) but next the doors to the restaurant, garden and kitchen. So I was awake by 6am.

Just next to the entrance street of the Prague Castle complex and a short walking distance to the city center. Tourist fuzz is literally just around the corner, but the hotel street is quiet and the hotel has nice back yard.

The location is slightly odd - very central, but rather secluded with roads all around it. Super near Prague castle, though. Our suite on the fifth floor was huge, with a rather odd red carpet throughout. The bathroom was also massive, sadly the shower cubicle leaked water everywhere. The beds were comfortable, but there were no sockets or charging ports by the bed. The blackout curtains were not amazing. The breakfast buffet had a decent selection and hit the spot. Staff were pretty friendly and courteous. Do not expect a 5* hotel, though.

Our stay at the Hotel Hoffmeister (August 2007) was excellent in every respect. Joined by friends from Ireland, we spent four wonderful days. Our only regret was saving dining in the Hoffmeister restaurant until our last evening. The meal was brilliant! Absolutely beyond expectations and delicious. Our junior suite was beautifully decorated; the service was always good; the staff always helpful. We want to go back to Prague and we couldn't imagine staying anywhere else but the Hoffmeister there.

We found the Hotel Hoffmeister to be extremely good and attentive to our needs. Upon arrival we were welcomed and invited to relax in the comfortable bar while they registered us and offered to help plan our sightseeing adventures. We also enjoyed the stone bath and massage in the hotel. The restaurant food and service was remarkable and friendly. We were always welcomed with a smile and personal attention.

In October, we spent four wonderful nights at the Hoffmeister Hotel in Prague. The hotel staff was incredibly helpful. The hotel itself was a gem! Breakfast with a view of the courtyard and dinners combining local favorites with contemporary cuisine. The hotel was wonderfully located, walking distance from the Prague Castle, from the Charles Bridge, and from nearly all other tourist attractions of Prague. We can't wait until our next visit to Prague, and we would never consider staying anywhere but the Hoffmeister.
