Hotel NH Collection Prague Carlo IV

We stayed at the NH Collection Carlo IV from 24 April to 1 May 2026 with our family. This was our third stay in the Hotel, and we keep coming back as it offers the finest hotel experience ever. We booked a family room, but thanks to the incredible generosity of Front Office Manager, Mr Jaroslav Sima, we were upgraded to the Presidential Suite. It was an unbelievable gesture that literally set the tone for our entire stay. Mr Sima was warm, professional, and genuinely went above and beyond to make our family feel special. He is exactly the kind of person you want running the front of a hotel like this 😊 The suite itself was magnificent — vast, elegant, and perfect for a family. The rest of the Hotel Team matched Mr Sima's standard throughout: always attentive, always friendly, and always eager to help. Our kids were over the moon with the pool — honestly, we could barely get them out! It's rare that a luxury hotel manages to be equally great for adults and children, but the Carlo IV just pulls it off effortlessly. Prague is a magical city, and the NH Collection Carlo IV is the perfect base from which to explore it. The building is stunning, the location is fantastic, but most of all, the people make it truly special. Thank you, Mr Sima, and the whole NH Collection Carlo IV Team — we cannot wait to come back! 😊

The hotel had professional staff, good rooms and the spa was amazing after a whole day out in prague

Overall, I was very happy with our stay. Our room was small, but clean and nicely appointed. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The building was lovely, with a beautiful lobby. The location was perfect - close to the train station, but not too close. It was easy to get on a tram right out front and get to where we needed to go. Overall, I would recommend and I would stay here again.

We visited the Prague Carlo Hotel for Sunday brunch with friends, and the entire experience was absolutely wonderful. The brunch itself was a feast for both the eyes and the stomach — an incredible variety of delicious hot and cold dishes, all beautifully presented and full of flavor. What truly made our visit unforgettable, however, was the exceptional hospitality from Yosif Mitkov. From the very beginning, Yosif went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for us. He helped us with our reservation, arranged a fantastic table, and made us feel genuinely welcomed and valued throughout our visit. His warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail were truly outstanding. On top of that, he gave us amazing recommendations for places to walk and explore in Prague, which made our day even more special. Yosif’s kindness and dedication turned a lovely brunch into a memorable experience we will always remember. A huge thank you to Yosif for making us feel so special — he was absolutely amazing! We will definitely be coming back 😃

The hotel is historic and beautiful and located close to the main train station, but we had issues in our room and with some service requests that impacted our experience. There were issues with the power in the room that were never fully addressed, the carpet in the room was dirty and service requests made via their app were not addressed until 2 days later. In addition, the location is a slightly longer walk to the old town area than I was hoping for. Still walkable, but about 15-20 minutes. Overall we were disappointed by our stay and will look elsewhere on future visits to Prague.
