The Carlo IV welcomes its guests in a timeless way. Wrapped in a fabled atmosphere, it captivates with the refinement of its details: from the rooms to the restaurant, from the Business Center to the Cigar Bar, the mosaic bottom pool, everything is presented with a refined elegance that characterizes the hotel, amongst the most prestigious of the Czech capital. The stuccoes, the splendor of marble, classic motifs, precious woods and antique furnishings: if Prague is the city of alchemists, the Boscolo Prague is its enchanted palace.

Our stay at NH Collection Prague Carlo IV was absolutely outstanding. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed. The hotel is beautiful, elegant, and perfectly located for exploring Prague. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and impeccably clean. The highlight of our stay was the exceptional service provided by the entire staff. Every team member was friendly, professional, and always ready to help. We would especially like to recognize Yosif Mitkov, who made our experience truly memorable. His kindness, professionalism, and genuine attention to detail exceeded all our expectations. He made us feel valued as guests and ensured that everything was perfect throughout our stay. Thank you to everyone at NH Collection Prague Carlo IV for making our visit so special. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Prague and will definitely return on our next trip.

Absolutely wonderful stay! I arrived way too early and my room was not ready, but I did not expect that, nor did I want it (I know my tendency to procrastinate exploring places when left alone with wifi and a bed). The trainee still welcomed me with open arms and a smile, took care of all the paperwork and the porter stored my bag for me. The trainee (I'm terribly sorry, I did not catch her name and the name tag just stated "trainee") also explained to me exactly where I was, how to get where, what to do, all that jazz. Lovely young lady, I wish her all the best for her future in hospitality, stay as you are! Anyway, I visited the city and when I was back in the late afternoon, I got my bag and keys and was informed I received an upgrade to a suite! Paint me stunned when I entered that room, which is bigger than my flat and tastefully decorated. I absolutely adore historic furniture (held in very good condition) and painted ceilings and goldleaf galore. The room was spotless and I hardly heard anything from the street outside. A bit later I went to the in-house restaurant, which offered a beautiful menu. Big fan of the feta-mousse. The hotel bar is located in the big entrance hall with all these plants and decorations and is really comfy. As it turns out, the hotel used to be a bank, THE BANK, and is now also occasionally used for filmsets. The reception also hooked me up with some stamps for postcards, and when I got back to my room, housekeeping was doing a turndown-service. Apologies to the maid whom I disturbed, I did not expect her there (the service-trolley outside the door should've rung a bell in me) nor did I ever receive such great service before. The wellness center is also absolutely stunning and opening hours are really convenient. Ended one day and started another in the sauna. Lastly, breakfast is overwhelming. I'm terrible at making decisions, so it took me a minute to decide what to have. In the end, I had too much, as per usual. But worth it! All very well presented, the waiters are very attentive and whoever bakes in the kitchen in the morning is a hero! My favorite is the giant selection of tea, and the cookies which go so well together. Unfortunately, I had to check out eventually, the location close to the mainstation is really convenient. The reception also took care of my postcards (I was absolutely incapable of finding a postbox near the station). If I had to point out something to improve, the loungers in the wellnesscenter are a bit low. I had a bit of trouble to get down and up again, but I had an injury anyway and there are also regular chairs available, so this is nitpicking on the uppermost level. All in all, an incredible stay, and I will be back eventually with a friend who enjoys a good sauna as much as I do.

I can honestly say that Rana at this hotel is the greatest and most skilful hotel personnel I have ever encountered. Me and my brother had travel issues and on the day of check in were extremely tired. We are also only able to speak English. Not only was Rana incredibly personable and friendly and a total professional, but also the room was absolutely perfect. Not sure what else I can say. Except that I have traveled all around the world with my job and have stayed in many nice hotels. But (largely because of Rana) this place is 100/100.

Lovely old hotel Lovely lobby and bar, staff are all so helpful and friendly Great atmosphere, evening bar is pleasant. Small room to use as well as main lobby bar. Rooms quite small. Although ours were the smallest in the hotel. For 2 people but sufficient. Lovely high ceilings and nice bathroom Fab location, short walk to main town, close to station

My family stayed at this wonderful hotel in June. We chose the hotel because of the location and beautiful pool. Before arriving, I emailed with Yosif Mitkov from Guest Relations, who couldn't have been nicer. On checking in, we found that we had been chosen as the "guest of the day," which meant that we were upgraded to a palatial suite in the 19th century section of the hotel and treated to breakfast the entire length of our stay. Everything was perfect. The pool and room were beautiful, the breakfast was excellent, and everyone was incredibly helpful and nice. I definitely recommend staying here and look forward to visiting again. Thank you especially to Mr. Mitkov!
