The Julius Prague

Our stay started off great! They were able to check us in early, which was a real plus after a long journey. Once in our room I noticed that our room had a queen bed and we had paid for a room with a king bed. However, given that they checked us in a few hours early I didn’t want to complain. The room was lovely otherwise. The reason for my poor review is related to a lost item. After returning from a day of exploring after our first night my pyjama set was missing. Likely gathered up by accident during the room cleaning. However, the staff kept saying they would ask housekeeping but then it was left to me to continuously check back in and it almost felt like they didn’t believe me. No attempt was made to really make things right. Otherwise, our stay in Prague was exceptional.

This was our second time staying at the Julius. We had such a good experience the first time and the second was just as wonderful. The hotel is impeccable. Clean and well appointed. The staff are lovely and helpful. Breakfast is delicious. And the location is ideal. We will definitely stay here again!

Our stay at the Julius was exceptional, from our large luxurious room to the staff, location, and hotel amenities. Our room was the size of a small city apartment complete with terrace and small galley kitchen. The bedroom was huge and the bathroom was quite large too complete with heated floors. The bed was super comfortable and the electric curtains were a nice touch. We appreciated the laundry machines available on the ground floor. After all this, what made this a top hotel for us was the staff; Simi at breakfast, the check-in hosts, and the concierge James. Looking forward to returning one day.

Lovely, calm, clean hotel in wonderful location. If I come back, will definitely stay here however the experience wasn’t like some other reviews. No welcome drink offered, room while otherwise well equipped, was missing basics like spoons and knives once used never came back- they did bring them when requested though. No welcome treats like I see in other reviews and unfortunately our room view was another apartment building. However, staff was kind, laundry room was amazing and the room was super clean and spacious. All in all a very nice stay despite small hiccups.
