The Julius is a fine hotel and when future travels take us to Prague we will certainly stay here. Our room was very spacious, stylish and well furnished, and the reception area and other public spaces were spotless. The staff were uniformly helpful and kind, and Simi, who supervised the breakfast room during our stay, deserves special mention for her warm hospitality. The breakfast buffet itself was extensive and excellent. There are a few tables on the sidewalk for a coffee or, as we were pleased to learn, an expertly prepared evening cocktail from mixologist Anastasia. The location is very convenient for walking to most of the main tourism sites. In consideration of guests' privacy, the hotel does not automatically provide housekeeping service, but it is available upon request at no additional cost, and we found it very thorough. All in all, highly recommended!

We were super happy with our hotel in Prague. We had a car and were able to park on site which is why we picked this hotel. We liked that the room had two spaces...sleeping and sitting. This is a very convenient location. It's not in the old town (ie astronomical clock area) but we could easily walk there. We felt very safe and were happy with our choice!

Highly recommend - impeccable staff and amazing all-around experience. Our 1 bed studio was spacious and felt like having our own apartment in city . great location to walk around town but far enough away to have a relaxing neighborhood.

This is a beautiful hotel. All the staff were extremely obliging and courteous. In particular, Ivan (conceirge), Hannah and Simi (restaurant). The hotel is immaculately clean and very well presented. Great location within walking distance to shopping, museums, and sightseeing. A big plus for travellers is the laundry in the hotel. We stayed for a week a always felt welcomed and relaxed. Highly recommend and will definitely return when in Prague.

We've just come back from a trip to Prague, and I must say that we stayed in one of the best hotels I have ever used. First, it's very easy to get to all the places of interest in Prague. The old Town, Republic Square, Wenceslas Square and the State Opera House are all within an easy, short walk. And there are tram stops all around to take you further afield. (Prague trams are easy to use and cover most of the city.) Second, the hotel is clean and quiet. The rooms are spacious and most, maybe all, have a kitchenette so that if you just want a small breakfast, or a quick meal in your room, there's no problem. The Julius is owned by an Austrian coffee and delicatessen business; there's a branch of their deli next door. There are also a huge number of restaurants of all kinds and price ranges close by. There is a restaurant with a fairly short menu on site, and a comfortable bar for a drink in the evening. Staff are very friendly and helpful. All speak some English (I found Czech to be impossible to master) and front line staff are fluent. I can think of nothing negative to say about the Julius. My only suggestion would be to make available some written instructions on how to use the kitchenette equipment (microwave etc.) and air conditioning (which is much better than in most hotels, but a bit difficult to control).
